I still feel lost.

Most of the dogs we rescue from other shelters seem to lighten up and relax, and begin to bloom with confidence, after about 3 days with us, perhaps due to toys and blankets and double meals, etc.

But Silas is confused and adrift still, despite our efforts.  We are hopeful though that any day now his emotional walls will come down.  We carry him from room-to-room because he is too shy to walk yet on a leash.

Silas is a soulful boy with a tender soul.  He is most likely a Portugese Water Dog mix.  He is neutered and about 3 years of age.

Silas gets along well with other dogs and we believe he may do best in a home with a big brother or big sister dog to help him adjust.
