I am 140 pounds of devotion.

Update: Caesar was adopted on January 31st!

Caesar is a noble boy who needed us when his previous owner's landlord put in a breed restriction policy.

He is an Azores Cattle Dog, a breed from islands in Portugal used for herding cattle, also known as "Cao Fila de Sao Miguel".  He was reportedly shipped to the United States when he was a puppy by a breeder.  He is neutered, approximately 4 years of age, and debuting for adoption today.

Caesar prefers women and he is wary of strange men.  A very strong boy, he could be dangerous in the wrong hands, so we must be strict about adopting him into a very experienced home with an owner knowledgeable about his breed and needs.

He is well-behaved.  Besides being housetrained and crate-trained, he has had obedience training and he knows many commands.

We do not believe he has ever been around children.  Though he is friendly and we have no reports of aggression, to err on the safe side, he requires an adult-only home or a home where the kids are very mature and much older.
