I survived some very dark days.

Update: Lord Byron was adopted on January 8th!

Lord Byron
has such a friendly nature that it is easy to forget the amount of neglect and cruelty he lived through until his recent rescue.

He was one of numerous domesticated rabbits who were trying eke out a life in a backyard without proper food, shelter, water, and other necessary care.

Lord Byron's ears, as you can see in his portrait, are chewed up, due to bites from other hungry bunnies, as well as flies during the summer. He is healing well, but the scars will always be there as a reminder of what he survived.

Lord Byron is a Rex with an exceptionally handsome apricot color and blue-grey eyes. He is neutered, about one year of age, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Please spoil this boy with fresh daily greens, indoor-only living, and lots of attention, so that memories of his previous lifestyle fade quickly.

Lord Byron is one of almost 70 rescued, spayed/neutered bunnies for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
