Clementine, the pardoned turkey.

Update: Clementine was adopted on August 21st!

We consider all of animals rescued by Nevada SPCA to be receiving pardons, since we will take them back from adopters if they are ever homeless or in emergency need again.

Clementine's pardon came yesterday after we rescued her from another shelter.

She is a domesticated young turkey, seemingly in good health.

Our biggest surprise with Clementine has been how friendly and affectionate she is with us. Besides letting us pet her, she enjoys being held and perching on shoulders.

We are seeking lifelong sanctuary for her, ideally with other female turkeys she can bond with and caretakers knowledgeable about her species.
