Peeps

Peeps shines with joy when she knows you are happy with her.  She is a beautiful spirit, an Australian Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Peeps was at another shelter that asked for our help because she was trembling and hiding in the corner of her kennel.  We placed Peeps with a confident dog and she promptly became poised, chin up, feeling secure.

Stanley

Image
Looking upward is a big step for Stanley . He is so bashful and afraid of people that he holds his head low and stares at the ground hoping that nobody notices him. Stanley was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his trembling and hiding in the corner. We placed him in a kennel with a confident dog for friendship and guidance, resulting in some immediate improvement. Stanley is a small Terrier mix with a gentle soul. He is 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Annalise

Image
Annalise , 11 months of age, is desperate for approval. She sits a few feet away from strangers and lowers her head in submission. Once they smile and tell her she is wonderful, she relaxes and lifts her head with confidence. We don't know what Annalise endured in her previous home. She was abandoned in front of a veterinary clinic with no sign of responsible ownership. Annalise is a Shepherd mix junior puppy, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Camaro

Image
Camaro is a sporty young boy building confidence and self-esteem.  He is a Queensland Heeler, 3 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We don't know what Camaro has endured. He is head-shy and worried about new people. Camaro was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.  He has enormous loving potential in an experienced home where he can continue his improvement with trust and socialization.

Moe

Image
Moe is charismatic and confident.  He loves people and greets strangers with ease.  If Moe sees you with toys, especially wand toys, he runs to you and becomes kitten-like and acrobatic.  He is an exceptionally handsome tuxedo medium-hair, 2 year young and neutered, fine with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

I need someone to believe in me.

Gia's previous owner admitted to neglecting her and not making enough time for her.  So Gia does not have much self-esteem  and she is confused by what people want from her.  But her loving potential is enormous and she will bloom beautifully in a stable, experienced home.  Gia is a medium-size Shar Pei mix, 2 years young, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is reportedly housetrained and fine with mature, older kids.  Please help Gia find a hero who will help her become a well-adjusted, well-balanced dog with confidence.

Please help me reach my full loving potential.

Update: Midnight was adopted on February 3rd! Midnight (the name she arrived with) is an exceptionally gentle youngster who desperately needs to build self-esteem. We are not sure whether she has been the victim of screaming or physical abuse, or if she was improperly socialized when a puppy, but she hunkers down in new situations and with new people. But with those she trusts, Midnight shares her heart and affection. She is a lovely Labrador Retriever mix, spayed, just past one year of age.  She debuts for adoption today. Midnight is compatible with other dogs and reportedly fine with older, mature kids.  She may need your patience and guidance to complete housetraining, as she reportedly has accidents when especially anxious. She needed us when her previous owner moved into an apartment without her. Once in a loving home, we know she will bloom beautifully.  We look forward to seeing her in the months to come holding her chin high with pride.
