Mickey , a cheery angel, glows with goodwill to everyone kind he meets.    He is a remarkably cute Shih-Tzu mix, 8 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Mickey was at another shelter that ran out of space and asked for our help.    He fears that every goodbye is forever -- separation anxiety -- so crate-training when he is home alone is strongly recommended for his emotional well-being.

Cosmo beams when you tell him it's time to go for a walk.    He is reportedly a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Shih-Tzu mix, 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Cosmo is improving emotionally every day. He is recovering from cruelty and worries that strangers intend to harm him. An experienced, adult-only home is needed for his continuing progress so he can reach his full loving potential.

Catalina is an adorable young girl with an inquisitive nature.  She likes to watch people, learn about their behaviors, and discover all she can.  Catalina is a Shih-Tzu mix, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption this morning at Nevada SPCA.   Please plan and budget for lifelong, regular professional grooming.

Wyatt , just 8 weeks of age, needs a foster home please for approximately 4-6 weeks. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Wayne. Wyatt was just surrendered because of his previous owner's family troubles. He is a Maltese & Shih-Tzu mix, shy and gentle. A calm, nurturing home environment is ideal for his socialization and continuing development.

Harlow Gold beams with a buoyant, optimistic spirit.  She is a Cockapoo & Shih-Tzu mix, 5 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Harlow Gold became homeless due to no fault of her own (her previous owners said there's "no room in the house" for her).  Please help find her a responsible, stable home where she will be dearly cherished.

Priscilla softly puts her paw on your knee asking for affection.  She is a darling young Shih-Tzu mix with a gentle soul, 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Priscilla is housetrained and good with other sweet dogs.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Galadriel , 9, in the midst of a life-changing transformation, continues to make admirable improvement with trust. The victim of very severe neglect and abuse, she is now unrecognizable from the matted and filthy condition she was in at the time of rescue from the streets. She is now groomed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, teeth cleaned, microchipped, eating premium food, and bonding with other rescued dogs. Galadriel is a Poodle & Shih-Tzu mix debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org). She is photographed in a blanket because she is not used to being picked up and she felt more secure wrapped in a covering. Galadriel's physical improvements are going well, but her emotional healing will take much longer. Please help find someone wonderful for her.

Puggie , 10, a jolly boy with a terrific smile and positive attitude, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Shih-Tzu mix, neutered, housetrained, and good with dogs.  Puggie needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship.  Please come meet this charismatic boy!

Lacey, March 11 Lacey, May 26 Lacey is an angelic girl who has been recovering from starvation for the past 8 weeks.  Today, she triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Lacey is a Shih-Tzu mix, about 6 years of age and spayed, and great with other gentle dogs.  We rescued her from another shelter in March when she was skeletal, severely neglected, and had blood in her urine from a bladder stone.  The first picture (green background) is just days after her rescue once we had her knots and tangles shaved away.  In this morning's picture (the turquoise background), you can see the hope and glow in her eyes.  Lacey has regained weight and energy, her coat is growing out nicely thanks to premium food, and she has recovered well from her bladder stone surgery.  Please help us find a wonderful, stable, loving forever home for Lacey .

Lizzy is a vibrant young 8-pound girl, breathtakingly adorable, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Shih-Tzu & Yorkshire Terrier mix, 1 year of age, spayed, and good with other sweet dogs.  Lizzy needs regular professional grooming, so please budget accordingly.  Lizzy's past is mostly unknown.  She was at another shelter and had infections in both ears.  We rescued her and had her ears treated.  She is now ready for a wonderful new home and we never want her to worry about becoming homeless or rejected again.
