Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

William , an endearing youngster with a friendly nature, is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is an attractive blend of many breeds, likely including Lhasa Apso, Schnauzer, and Terrier. Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming. William is 3 years of age, a neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, and compatible with some dogs (though picky about which dogs he likes).  William needed us due to his previous owner's declining health.

Boo Boo's soul is in recovery from abuse, as she is still head-shy and fearful of loud noises and loud people. We think of her as a beautiful flower who needs a gentle home to help her bloom. Trusting people takes time and patience, so Boo Boo needs an experienced, adult-only home and calm lifestyle environment. Boo Boo is an attractive mix of Terrier and Schnauzer, medium-size, and she is spayed and about 4 years of age. She needs regular brushing and grooming care. We have a mixed record with her and other dogs. Some she takes to very well, while others she tries to dominate. (If you have a dog please be sure to bring him or her to meet her in our courtyard to ensure that Boo Boo is compatible with the entire family.)

Update: Scruffy was adopted on January 12th! Scruffy needed us when his previous owner was deployed overseas to fight for our country. He is a fun-loving, cheery puppy with a beautiful smile. Scruffy is a Terrier mix, perhaps with Schnauzer, neutered male, about 3 months of age. We expect him to remain small or grow to medium size at most. He enjoys other dogs, especially playful ones. Scruffy debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Rembrandt was adopted on October 5th! Rembrandt is a masterpiece of heavenly innocence. He is loyal and affectionate and humble. Rembrandt is most likely a Terrier & Schnauzer mix. He is neutered and about 8 years of age. He likes other dogs, especially those with mild temperaments like his. Please plan on regular grooming care for him. We rescued Rembrandt after one of our staff witnessed him being abandoned by a man who tied him to a tree near a busy street and sped away. It is so sad and tragic that some people are incapable of recognizing and respecting the ocean of unconditional love offered by wonderful dogs like Rembrandt.
