Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Bonita and her 6 babies, just rescued, need a foster home for approximately 6 weeks please. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for DJ. Her son Tiger is on her right and her daughter Elise is on her left. They were surrendered due to their previous owner's financial hardship. She worried we wouldn't take Elise because of her missing right front paw (birth defect), but Elise is the one getting the most hugs and kisses from the staff and volunteers. Bonita is very good-natured, amiable, and petite. She has been a good mom to her babies and taught them that people are kind.

Alexander , 10, and Bonita , 3, are two more of the six precious dogs rescued from the backyard/junkyard of a suspected breeder and they debut for adoption today. Both Alexander and Bonita are tiny, just 6 and 4 pounds respectively, and quite bashful. We believe they've never been held before. When we lift them, they stare at the ground in fear of being dropped.    Both have muted spirits -- they likely gave up hope long ago -- but they are accepting kindness and beginning to connect more with the people caring for them.    Both are Toy Poodle mixes and now spayed/neutered ( Alexander is a boy and Bonita is a girl).    Please help find them exceptionally gentle homes where they can continue to bloom. Bella Bonita Guapa Linda These four beautiful baby girls were found outdoors, alone, with their mom nowhere in sight. We placed them in a loving foster home where they have been raised and socialized (with cats and a small dog) and showered with affection.  The girls -- Bella , Bonita , Guapa , and Linda -- are now well-adjusted, about 4 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Here is personality information on the girls, as related by their foster family: Bella loves to be pampered.  She will cry and fuss if things just aren't right and she needs more attention. Bonita is inquisitive and likes to follow you around from room-to-room.  She may especially do best in a home with another cat. Guapa is exceptionally loving and gives you nose kisses. Linda is very athletic and spunky, but when it's time to rest she purrs heartily in your arms. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair ...

Update: Bonita was adopted on July 28th! Bonita is bright, sweet little jewel. She is a puppy, Pug & Chihuahua, with a sleek coat and the most adorable round head. Bonita has a loving nature. She is spayed, about 10 months of age, and debuts for adoption today. She needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship. Besides being compatible with other dogs, she is reportedly fine with older, mature kids. Please remember to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for Bonita's safety and protection.

Update: Bonita was adopted on March 8th! Bonita is beautiful, inside and out, a warm-hearted puppy with big brown eyes. She is most likely a Spaniel mix. She is spayed, about 7 months of age, and debuting for adoption today. Besides being great with other dogs, Bonita reportedly is compatible with kind, mature children. (But she supposedly "hates" cats.) Bonita needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship. She will need your patience and guidance to complete housetraining and adjust to living predominantly indoors as a cherished member of the family.
