Phoebe

Image
Phoebe , 3, yearns for peace-of-mind.    A cruelty survivor, she remembers the abuse in her nightmares and frequently cries, screams, and growls in her sleep. (Please wake her with lights or noise, rather than by touch, to avoid an unintended nip/snap.) Phoebe is a tender-hearted girl with tremendous loving potential. She is a Chihuahua mix, spayed, 3 years of age, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .   Phoebe is good with other dogs (as long as meals and treats are fed to her when she is alone).

Abby

Abby's previous owner passed away. She feels lost and confused at the moment.  We want to find Abby a very gentle and stable home where she will feel secure and at peace.  She is a lovely Shih-Tzu mix, 6 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with calm dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Glenda

It hurts to see the confusion and pleading in Glenda's eyes at the moment. But we believe in her and know to a certainty that she will bloom with kindness and nurturing care. Glenda is a young and gentle Schipperke mix who was at another shelter, so afraid she was huddling in a corner and pressed against the floor trying to hide.    We rescued her and matched her in a kennel with a friendly and confident dog, resulting in her immediately feeling more secure.    Glenda is 3 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please help find her a gentle hero.

Annabelle

Annabelle , a tiny baby with enormous loving potential, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Annabelle was at another shelter that asked for our help. She frequently screams at the top of her lungs when fearful, worried that every stranger she meets may try to hurt her. She is progressing and accepting kindness. With staff she knows and trusts, she is running to them and putting her paws on their knee and asking for reassurance and the feeling of safety. Annabelle is a Chihuahua mix puppy, 5 months of age and spayed. We believe a big sister or brother dog will help her continue to improve and become a well-adjusted girl.
