Maui loves jumping in wading pools and splashing about.  He is a remarkably cute youngster, a blend of Tibetan Terrier and Toy, 1 year of age, good with other friendly dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Maui needed us due to his previous owner's hardship. Dudley & Dolly , devoted siblings, like to live indoors & outdoors, swim in wading pools, and enjoy their meals and treats in separate bowls.  They are exceptionally friendly youngsters and bonded for life.  Their previous owner reportedly acquired them around Easter when they were babies. Both are completely dependent on people for survival.  Please share their post to help them find a social home where they will get lots of quality time daily.  They are large, American Pekin ducks, bred by some for eating, so their lifetime safety and well-being is of utmost concern when finding them a forever home. Conan is a regal youngster with a down-to-earth personality and fun-loving spirit.  He loves playing in water, so please consider a wading pool of some kind for endless hours of pleasure.  Conan is an Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky mix, 2 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was rescued from another shelter that asked for our help. There was apparently at least one violent episode against him from his previous owner.

McEnroe Mitzie Nicholas Paul   This morning, McEnroe soaked after chasing tennis balls, Mitzie (who is blind) gave endless kisses to her caretaker for giving her pool time, Nicholas bobbed for toys, and Paul couldn't decide whether he preferred drinking from the hose or chewing on wet tennis balls. Lilly's beautiful face radiates fulfilled joy, bringing happy tears to the volunteers and staff here who recall her January 14 rescue. You may remember Lilly and her 9 puppies being rescued from a man threatening to shoot them.    Now three months later, all 9 of Lilly's babies survived, thrived in foster care, were spayed/neutered and then adopted. Lilly is now spayed and it's her turn for a loving forever home too. She triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Lilly loves leaping in pools to splash about or soak her feet. Please get her a wading pool for endless hours of pleasure and fun. She is 6 years of age, a medium-size Shar Pei & Shepherd mix. Something else wonderful to share! Moon enjoys getting messy and clean, playing in the dirt and grass then leaping into a wading pool to splash and soak.  He is a Chow Chow puppy, 7 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  Moon is housetrained and compatible with submissive dogs.  He is bashful with strangers and needs time to warm to new people.  Moon needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.  Please visit and ask for him by name.

Gracie, June 12, the day of her rescue.  Gracie , who nearly perished from starvation, has bloomed into a volunteer favorite (they call her "baby hippo") who delights in playing with kids, splashing in wading pools, and leaning onto the people who cuddle her.    Today, Gracie triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Gracie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 5 years of age, spayed, and housetrained.    She was captured at a construction site months ago in such emaciated and dehydrated condition that we rushed her to a veterinary hospital for IV fluids for two days. Her veterinarian said she would not have survived another day on her own. Gracie's physical and emotional recovery was helped by time spent in a loving foster home. Anne Marie has endless hours of enjoyment in wading pools.  She loves playing in the water, lounging on pool steps, and dancing in the sprinklers.  Anne Marie is a medium-size, young Dutch Shepherd mix with beautiful tiger/brindle coloring, about 2 years of age, a spayed girl, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Thanks to many hours of compassion from volunteers, Anne Marie has made a wonderful recovery from abuse.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for celebrating her progress with this gorgeous new portrait to help her find a responsible, loving forever home.
