Butterfly , 12, a tiny boy who longs to be treasured. His previous owners admitted to long-term neglect. We had Butterfly neutered and provided him with dental care and daily eyedrops, premium food, vaccinations, and more, and he is so appreciative for all kindness and help. Batman , 12, so tiny at just 3 pounds, is a gentle lovebug who needs a home please.  He is a Chihuahua, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Batman was at another shelter that asked for our help and we had dental care provided for him. Many of his teeth are gone and his tongue often hangs out of his mouth a bit, as in this picture.  Please help find a hero for Batman .

Paisley , a jazzy and tiny youngster, asks for a loving, forever home.  He is a "Chug" (Chihuahua & Pug), 1 year of age, good with dogs and older kids, now neutered and debuting for adoption this afternoon at Nevada SPCA .  Paisley is still very puppy-like and needs you to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Giorgio's right eye was terribly maimed by a firework. At the time of rescue he was in so much pain he didn't want us to touch him. We rushed him to an advanced care veterinary hospital and his eye had to be removed. Giorgio is a petite, 6-pound Pomeranian, 5 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is good with other dogs and likes being held in gentle arms. Giorgio is gradually adjusting to life with one eye. He can get fussy if your hand comes near his face, but then gives you a doggie kiss because he doesn't intend any harm.

Bucky, 2 years of age, neutered boy. Bugsy, 1 year of age, neutered boy. La Ruff, 2 years of age, neutered boy. We learned about these three young boys at another shelter.  They were reportedly taken there by their previous owner for somehow getting into a chicken coop.  Bucky is a tiny, 5-pound Chihuahua.  Bugsy is a cute and bashful Chihuahua mix.  And La Ruff is a medium-size, Benji-like breed of many Terriers and Sporting Dog breeds.  They don't need to be adopted as a trio -- what was important was getting them safe so they could join responsible homes -- but please consider adopting a pair or pairing them with another dog for lifelong companionship.

Beethoven , named for his lyrical personality, was out on the Vegas streets alone, neglected, mostly deaf, and with numerous dental problems.  He is a Maltese mix, about 10 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Beethoven is a very gentle soul and he gets along well with other dogs.  He is now cleaned up and eating premium food, and his 7 problem teeth have been extracted.  Please use consistent hand signals to help with communication and take extra safety precautions for him in your home and yard.

Tiny, 6-pound Ringo , a sweetheart with expressive eyes and a heart of gold, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is so devoted to those he bonds with that it's especially imperative nobody ever fails him again.  Despite his ear tattoo and being "de-barked" by previous owners, he finds himself homeless at 6 years of age due to no fault of his own.  Ringo is good with dogs and cats and older kids, plus reportedly housetrained and crate-trained too.  He is a cute Chihuahua, neutered boy, yearning for the stability and comfort of a responsible, forever home.
