Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Thank you to his mom, Sue, for sharing his progress and pictures: "I get your Facebook updates and while I was at work. I saw a dog who was thrown away in the trash in a plastic bag. He was named Devin. I work at Republic Services and left work to go get him. He is renamed Houdini for surviving being thrown out in the trash. He's a very good-natured boy and gets along well with our other 2 dogs. So thank you for giving animals who are literally thrown away a chance."

Terrific update!  Zeus , a young Saint Bernard mix, was adopted earlier this year.  We love this report from his family: "Zeus wants you guys to know he is living the life! He is a couch potato, bed hog, toy hoarder who loves to run through sprinklers, rolls in the mud puddles, and break Olympic records every time he hears a bag crinkle. He is the heart and soul of our family and we could never imagine our lives without our big goofy boy. Thank you guys so much again for saving him, he is the best thing that ever happened to us. Love always , Zeus the Moose and his forever family"

Waffles/Bear, a puppy, December 2012 From December, 2012, some of you will remember Waffles , a Belgian Shepherd (Tervuren) puppy with birth defects on a front and hind paw. His dad, John, said he is now named Bear and he has grown into a magnificent adult and he's learning to use a prosthetic foot. He says that Bear is remarkably comical and happy -- the family was surprised by his great sense of humor. Bear's favorite activities include car rides and putting his paws on your shoulder when he greets you so that he can talk (he loves to vocalize) to you about your day. Here is our original post about Waffles/Bear.
