Chuck beams when he knows you approve of him.  He is housetrained, crate-trained, and good with other sweet dogs.  Chuck is a cute Chihuahua, 4 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He wants to be indoors as much as possible and relishes leisurely time in his dog bed.  Chuck needed us due to no fault of his own (his previous owner's psychological hardship).

Addison shines when he is the center of attention. He wants everyone around him to be happy too. Addison is a small Heinz 57 with the kindest face, perhaps a blend of Beagle and Toy breeds, 8 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Cherub , a little angel who steal hearts, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Peke-A-Poo, 3 years young, good with other sweet dogs, and now neutered.  Cherub was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).  He deserves a stable, loving home where he will be treasured.

Gucci wants to feel treasured and appreciated.  He is a kind, thoughtful, attractive Silky Terrier mix, 5 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming. Gucci likes soft-spoken people and calm dogs.  He needed us due to the financial hardship of his previous owner.

Pluto is a tiny, 7-pound boy with enormous loving potential and he is recovering steadily from a violent, cruel past.  We rescued him in June from another shelter and he had open wounds across his body, most consistent with road rash from being struck by a vehicle.  Physically, he has healed beautifully this summer and he triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Emotionally, Pluto is still a work in progress, but he is learning to trust and realizing that people can be kind.  Pluto is 7 years of age and neutered.  We believe he will adjust best in a home with a big brother or sister dog.  Please help find a hero for Pluto .

Zeke, rescued from another shelter. Zeke, on the morning of his adoption debut. Zeke is a young sweetheart we rescued from another shelter.  Obviously from a loveless home, he is surprised that people actually care for him and want to pamper him.  Zeke is a cute blend of many small breeds, 2 years of age, a neutered boy, good with dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Kim, a dedicated volunteer, who arranged for his professional grooming yesterday.  Please help Zeke find a responsible, forever home where he will awaken to the joys of being treasured as a family member.

Gabriel is a little angel who only asks for kindness and compassion.  He is a cream-white Pomeranian, about 8 years of age, a neutered boy, good with other sweet dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Gabriel was at another shelter that asked for our help because he needed dental care.  He had been surrendered there because his previous family had "no time for him".  Besides providing Gabriel with the dental care he needed, we discovered he is deaf.  (His previous family had reportedly complained that he "runs away".)  Gabriel needs and deserves a hero.  Please help us find him someone who will cherish him and never fail him again.

Nitro is a pensive, intelligent youngster seeking insight and understanding about human nature.  Tied to a pole and abandoned, Nitro cannot comprehend how someone he loved could have disposed of him so ruthlessly and recklessly.  Nitro is an especially attractive Bully mix, 2 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  This devoted boy has enormous potential and we ask for your help in finding him a hero who will never fail him.

Piccadilly is a tiny gentleman (4.6 pounds) who needs a loving, stable home. He is a Maltese, about 10 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Piccadilly loves gentle people and friendly dogs.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming. He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his severe neglect and dental needs. Piccadilly's matted coat has been shaved away and a dozen of his teeth were extracted.  He is now ready for a fresh start!

Peanut hopes this terrific new portrait, courtesy of Pet'ographique , will help win him new attention and consideration.  He is a petite gentleman with mousy good looks and he has been making exceptional progress with trust thanks to dedicated volunteers and staff.  Peanut is a tri-color Chihuahua, about 8 years of age, neutered, and available for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Peanut loves other dogs. He reportedly lost his previous home because he doesn't like being around children.  A calm, gentle, stable home environment is perfect for him.

Coconut would love to be a gentle and devoted presence in your happy, stable, loving home.  He likes to hide and rest under blankets, occasionally peeking out at you to see if everything is okay.  Coconut is an attractive charcoal & white medium-hair with enchanting eyes, about 8 years of age, a neutered boy, fine with with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Bowie reportedly recently lost his hearing in full, causing him some anxiety.  Hand signals for communication, a stable lifestyle routine, and an understanding to not startle him are very important to help him continue to adjust.  Bowie is a stunningly attractive Australian Cattle Dog mix, about 5-6 years of age, neutered boy, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Bowie is reportedly housetrained and loves his toys.  An experienced, adult-only home is needed for his continued progress.  Please help us find Bowie a hero.

Pee Wee is a huge, lovable sweetheart debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Great Dane & Mastiff mix, about 6 years of age and now neutered.  Large dog experience is preferred for his adoption. Pee Wee likes to play ball and he is reportedly compatible with older kids and large female dogs.  (He reportedly did not get along with male dogs, but that was before he was neutered.)  Pee Wee is good-natured, blessed with a sweet soul.
