John Snow Princess 32 rescued kittens -- including John Snow and Princess -- need foster homes! Please share this post to help. If you can foster, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Debra. John Snow is a newborn found in a person's window sill this morning. He has been accepted by a surrogate mother cat (also rescued). Princess is a petite girl, 8 weeks of age, with tortoiseshell coloring. She was found in a family's backyard without her mom or siblings. Her foster commitment needs to be approximately 6 weeks please.

Tina & Tom and 20 more rescued motherless, as well as a mom cat and her newborns, need foster heroes please! If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Tina and Tom , 5 weeks of age, were found starving outdoors. We rushed them into emergency care and both began eating with desperation. They are now stable, but still weak. The foster commitment for them would be approximately 2 months please.

Antoine and Isabelle , rescued babies just 3 weeks of age, need a surrogate mother please, with bottle-feeding every few hours. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Also needing foster heroes today are a mom dog and her babies, two mother cats and their babies, four baby rabbits, a pregnant dog, and 12 more motherless kittens.

Your help is making an important impact and we are placing numerous motherless newborns, pregnant animals, and mothers with babies into nurturing foster care every day. Foster homes for fragile lives urgently needed!    Please visit Nevada SPCA in person on the day you can help become a surrogate parent. Angel (pictured here) and her sister, motherless newborns just rescued, have been accepted by a surrogate mother cat -- a momma cat also rescued with her own newborns. Foster homes are needed throughout this spring and summer especially for rescued pregnant animals, moms and young babies, and motherless newborns.    Please share this post to help find and encourage foster heroes with a tender touch. Charlotte could give birth at any moment. Foster hero very urgently needed please! If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Charlotte was rescued this afternoon from the same home and squalor where Lilly and her 8 puppies were rescued from yesterday. ( Lilly and her babies were posted here on Facebook earlier today .) The officer who captured Charlotte believes she saved the life of Lilly's 9th baby, a boy named Aspen, keeping him warm last night. Aspen was captured today and we reunited him with Lilly and his siblings a few minutes ago. Charlotte is about 18 months young. She is believed to be one of Lilly's daughters from a previous pregnancy. Like her mom, Charlotte is medium-sized, gentle, and extremely grateful for kindness. The officer believes that Lilly and Charlotte were surviving without dog food by eating whatever they could find in trash cans, yards, and in the nearby desert. A woman heard a kitten crying, trapped inside a brick wall at her apartment complex. She knocked a hole in it to save him. Wally is about 4 weeks of age and needs syringe feeding. Annabelle nursing Rainy and Sherman Annabelle , blessed with an incredibly sweet disposition and nurturing spirit, mothered numerous kittens for survival and to good health.     She is 2 years young, fine with cats and dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. After she raised her own kittens in a loving foster home, Annabelle nurtured and raised two more rescued newborns who desperately needed a mother. (The second picture shows Annabelle with these babies, named Rainy and Sherman .)    Annabelle's foster mom says she is remarkably affectionate and eager for attention.    Please help find her a wonderful, forever home.

Juno , an exceptionally affectionate youngster, heroically saved 7 motherless newborn kittens.  Today, she is spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org), and we want to find her a home where she will be showered with cuddling and love. At the time of her rescue, Juno was pregnant.  She had only one kitten, who was stillborn.  When she returned from a veterinary hospital (for x-rays, to ensure no other kittens were inside her), Juno heard the cries of newborn motherless kittens being surrendered to us and began chirping and calling out for them.  Juno took exceptional care of the babies and lovingly raised them in a wonderful foster home.  Juno is very social and best suited for a home where she will get a great deal of companionship with people and cats.  She is a sandy brown tabby, 3 years of age. Andy Mandy Randy Andy , Mandy , and Randy are affectionate babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  They are Terry-Poo (Terrier & Poodle mixes) puppies, now 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Mandy is a girl and Andy and Randy are boys.  All three like to cuddle and play with squeaky toys.  They were just a couple of weeks old at the time of rescue and needed a surrogate mother.  They have been lovingly nurtured in a wonderful foster home ever since.

For fragile, motherless newborns, like Travis , a foster hero is the surrogate parent he needs to survive. Babies without moms are being found throughout the community, especially this time of year, and we ask for your help in finding foster parents who can provide nurturing care and socialization until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and adopted. Travis and his four siblings were found in urgent need in someone's storage unit.  They are just days old and need bottle-feeding every few hours. Mama Cass was not just the center of the universe for her three babies, but also for seven motherless newborns who desperately needed her too.  This petite girl had plenty of nurturing care and compassion for all ten babies, and with the assistance of a foster parent, raised them lovingly in a comfortable home environment.  Today, Mama Cass is spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is 1 year young and enjoys playing with crinkled up paper balls.  Her foster mom said Mama Cass likes to take her kibble out, piece-by-piece, and bat it around like a soccer ball before eating it.  Mama Cass was rescued from a suspected backyard breeder.  Her ten babies will soon be available for adoption too once they are spayed/neutered.

Jason Jenna Jason and Jenna were rescued on the Fourth of July, only 6 weeks of age or so at the time, and both were frightened and without the comfort of their mother.  We placed them in a loving foster home for surrogate mothering and both have excelled since.  Jason likes to prance forward to meet people.  Jenna is a bit bashful, but quite affectionate with those she trusts.  The puppies are Chihuahua mixes, now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.

Mommy , an angelic young Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), was surrendered to us pregnant in late May.  We placed her in a foster home and she had her babies the very next day.  Mommy was also a hero to two more rescued newborns who needed a mother, and she loved and nurtured them just like her own.  (All of these babies are thriving and remain in foster care.)  Mommy is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is 2 years young, great with cats & dogs & rabbits, and she delights in laying on your pillow, curled around your head.  Please share her picture and help find Mommy a magnificent forever home.
