Oxford , 12, feels most secure with a quiet life and stable routine. This is what he is used to. He needed us when his previous owner passed away. Oxford is terrific with other cats.    He is shy with strangers, but warm with those he knows. Kelly's happiness comes from peace-of-mind, based on a stable lifestyle routine and a calm and loving home environment.  She is a dainty young girl who likes gentle voices and slow petting.  Kelly is 2 years of age, spayed, a blue-grey & white shorthair with cute nose freckles & golden eyes, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Kelly wants other cats to give her plenty of space and respect (and she may do especially well in a one-cat household).

Mika is a precious Chi-Weenie puppy (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Volunteers and staff adore this playful, bright-eyed baby girl.  Mika was found in distress on one of the busiest roads in west Las Vegas with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, unspayed).  Please give her kind guidance, a stable lifestyle routine, and basic training.

Nascar is in heaven with all of his attention here, running into the arms of volunteers and staff for big hugs.  He is a very attractive puppy, a Belgian & German Shepherd mix, about 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Nascar is starving for attention because he was unwanted and unloved in his previous home, kept on a long cord.  One of our volunteers discovered him posted on a classified ads web site, his previous owner threatening to take him to a "kill shelter" if no one came for him immediately.  Please give him kind guidance, a stable lifestyle routine, basic training, and an abundance of love and attention!
