Inspiring adoption update on Lizzy (now Littles)!

Image
Thank you Angel & Dan, Lizzy's new parents, for sharing these pictures and details: "We have been calling her Littles - because she's just so darn tiny - and she has settled right in with her new family! She's very sweet, loves her fur-brothers and sisters and wants nothing more than to be on your lap or sleeping under the covers with us. She loves her belly rubbed for sure! We just wanted you to know that this little girl is happy and we are lucky to have her in our lives!"

Angelica

Angelica's special needs in no way diminish the love she is offering to the hero who adopts her.  She is a Toy Fox Terrier, 1 year of age, compatible with other small dogs.  Whether the result of birth defect or early life trauma, Angelica's neurological system is unique and she is partially blind and unable to walk in a straight line.  She calms when you cradle her and enjoys playing with toys that make crunchy sounds when she chews on them.  Angelica can walk in circular motions and quickly learns new rooms and adjusts to them well.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for showcasing Angelica so beautifully in these portraits.  Please ask for DJ when you visit Nevada SPCA for special assistance with Angelica .

Uno needs a hero.

Image
Uno enjoys sitting upright like a meerkat.  When you tell him it's time for treats he throws his front arms above his head in an enthusiastic hallelujah! and his whole body wiggles with joy.  Uno is a young Chihuahua, 1 year of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Uno was at another shelter that asked for our help.  He had sustained massive trauma (from unknown source), resulting in partial blindness and neurological damage.  Uno cannot walk in a straight line, but instead shuffles and walks in a crawling manner to get where he wants to go.  He is not suffering and he has many years of unconditional love to share with the person who becomes his lifelong hero.
