Hugo was saved by the compassion and courage of a woman who stopped horrific cruelty on the grounds of a motel. She observed a man ordering his dog to attack and kill the distressed, homeless kitten trapped in a corner. Hugo is a 5-month baby boy with a gentle spirit.    He loves playing with other cats and makes "happy feet" on your chest when you lay down next to him. Hugo is now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Please keep Hugo always indoors, always safe and cherished.

Deep in the desert, miles from any small towns, two men spotted Petey . He was terrified and running with nowhere to go. The men determined to catch and save him. It took an hour and they eventually won his trust and brought him to safety. Petey is an exceptionally gentle Cocker Spaniel & Toy mix, 6 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Biff , just rescued by a forklift operator, is 1 of 20 newborns (some with mothers) who so far today need loving foster homes.    If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Biff is about 7 weeks of age. The forklift operator saved him in the nick of time from being run over. His foster commitment would be for approximately 6-7 weeks. Newborn kittens and pregnant animals throughout the community are being rescued each hour. By the end of today an additional 20-30 more may be in urgent need of surrogate parents. Oliver wants everyone around him to be as happy as he is.  He is a charismatic youngster, terrific at cuddling, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Oliver is a German Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix, 2 years of age, neutered, and compatible with other large and friendly dogs.  We rescued him in the nick of time from another shelter.

Kimberly loves to hug and kiss!  She sees the best in people and she is terrific with dogs too.  Kimberly is a medium-size blend of many breeds (Shepherd & Hound families) with stunning copper coloration, 3 years young, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued her in the nick of time from another shelter.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Dublin is radiant and joyful, full of hope, and so eager to bless you with his lifelong unconditional devotion. He is an attractive blend of Australian & German Shepherds, 1 year young, a neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Dublin from another shelter in the nick of time.

Henry likes meeting people and engaging in new experiences. He is sporty and inquisitive, terrific with people and dogs, and best suited for an active lifestyle routine.  Henry is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, 1 year young, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We saved Henry in the nick of time from another shelter.

Lauren is a precious Maltese mix puppy who we believe would benefit from having a big brother dog or big sister dog to help her adjust and feel like a valued member of the "pack"/family.  She is shy, but her loving potential is enormous.  Lauren is approximately 10 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Lauren just in the nick of time from another shelter where she did not qualify for adoption due to being timid.  But love, stability, and kindness in an experienced home will have Lauren blooming beautifully.

Lollipop is like an enormous Teddy Bear with a jolly, shining personality and admirable kindness.  She makes those around her feel calm and at ease, which is a tremendous compliment for anyone.  Lollipop is a very plump, 110-pound Retriever mix, spayed girl, 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is on a weight reduction plan and this needs to safely and gradually continue in her forever home.  We rescued Lollipop from another shelter just in the nick of time, with only minutes to spare, and she can now continue bringing much-needed joy and devotion into this crazy, chaotic world.  Please help us find Lollipop a lifelong hero.
