Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Lily Nolan Lily and Nolan , sister and brother puppies, debut for adoption at 1pm today at Nevada SPCA .    They are super sweet and adorable Retriever mixes (we believe one of their parents is a Golden Retriever), now 3 months of age and spayed/neutered. We rescued Lily and Nolan when they were newborns at another shelter that asked for our help. (Their seven siblings will be ready for adoption in the days and weeks to come too.)    Since their rescue, they have been lovingly raised with cats, dogs, and a gentle child in a wonderful foster home. Please consider adopting Lily and Nolan together for lifelong love and companionship.

Mike Mike Molly Molly Mike and Molly were just 3 weeks of age and motherless at the time of rescue. Their devoted foster mom bottle-fed them to good health and socialized them well with cats and dogs. The babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.   Both have polite mannerisms, love to chew their toys, and enjoy being held in gentle arms.    They reportedly had the same mother, but we suspect they have different fathers. Mike is a Toy & Terrier mix and Molly is a Toy & Miniature Pinscher mix.    They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Macaroon Bobby Dianne This is a story of seven tiny angels surviving parvo and three of the siblings are debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. A man brought in a large blue plastic container in mid-November.  We opened the lid and seven pairs of frightened eyes were peering up at us, pleading for help.  Their mother had perished from parvo disease and all of the puppies were perilously ill. We rushed them to a veterinary clinic for advanced emergency care, made possible thanks to the exceptional generosity of donors to our advanced care fund.  After extensive treatment, all seven puppies made beautiful recoveries. Today, Bobby , Dianne , and Macaroon are spayed/neutered and ready for adoption.  They are Chihuahua puppies, approximately 3 months of age, and all sport very playful and lovable personalities. Their four siblings will be ready for adoption too in the days to come (once they have, and recover from, their spay/neuter surgeries)....

Charmander Onyx Charmander and Onyx are brother and sister, wonderfully lovable junior puppies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Both are reportedly terrific with mature kids, as well as good with other dogs and partially housetrained.  Their previous owners, who surrendered them due to financial hardship, said that they are Border Collie mixes.  We expect them to grow just to medium size.  They are now 6 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.

Carolyn and her 7 babies, just 3 weeks of age at most, need a nurturing, loving foster home today. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 5pm and ask for Lara. Carolyn is a very sweet Dachshund, ab out 4 years of age. The man who brought Carolyn and her babies in said that he found Carolyn about a month ago when she was pregnant and running loose on the streets without an ID tag or microchip ID. Carolyn is an attentive mother to her 7 babies. She is fine with gentle people touching them and helping her, but she will not tolerate other animals around her babies. The foster commitment would be for approximately 2-3 months. Please help us find a foster hero today. More on foster parenting.

Aaron Nick Zak These soulful young brothers -- still puppies at about 9 months of age -- were named by the staff and volunteers after the stars of "Ghost Adventures" TV show, the hit series on Travel Channel.  All three are inquisitive and love exploring.  They have hearts of gold and warm up well to people they know and trust. Aaron , Nick , and Zak are Terrier & Toy mixes, brothers with a wide range of appearances, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. The trio needed us after they were abandoned at a veterinary clinic.  Their pasts are otherwise unknown. The Ghost Adventure Pups can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship.

Dandy Honey Bee Honey Bee and her brother Dandy are incredibly adorable puppies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  The only thing we know about their past is that a police officer confiscated them from someone's home or yard for unknown reasons to save them.  Both have loving natures and get along well with other dogs.  They are Bully mixes, expected to grow to medium size, now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for wonderful, forever homes where they will be cherished as valued members of a family. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.

We urgently need loving foster homes today for 8 very young rescued puppies.  Please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 4pm and ask for Lara if you can help.  Sherry , pictured here, is one of four Chihuahua puppies about 1 month of age rescued from a person who was getting rid of them in front of a grocery store.  The puppies were panting in the sun and getting dehydrated.  In addition, we have three rescued Border Collie mix puppies and a Bully mix puppy who also need foster homes.  Please help us reach people today so we can find heroes for these babies.
