Sweet Pea likes playing soccer with wadded-up paper balls, batting them around them room and watching them ricochet off the baseboards.    She is a timid baby girl who would love to become a little sister to a confident and nurturing adult cat. Tourmaline , a baby gem, warms more to people with each new day.  She is letting us cuddle her and she is becoming light-hearted and playing with her toys.  Tourmaline is a petite kitten, 3 months of age and spayed, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her fear and hissing.  Tourmaline was desperate for security and began making progress when we placed stuffed animals for her to snuggle with in her habitat.  In an experienced home her progress can continue so she can reach her full loving potential.

Alex , 4 months of age, is a "big purr machine" who revels in affection and adoration. Empty cardboard boxes are his favorite toys and he finds hours of enjoyment exploring them from every angle. Sybil , a tiny baby girl missing her hind right foot, and her siblings need a loving foster home please for approximately 5 weeks. Mickey and his two siblings were found on a roof ledge without their mother. The homeowner used a ladder and carefully captured them, bringing them all down to safety. We placed the kittens in loving foster care for socialization with cats and small dogs. Mickey is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and his siblings will be ready for adoption later this month.    Mickey is lovable, humble, especially attractive with a silver undercoat with charcoal tips, 4 months of age, and neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. Osito , an earnest and hopeful baby boy, is one of a dozen rescued kittens ready for adoption today. Tomorrow, Saturday, another 30 rescued kittens will be ready for adoption too at 10am at Nevada SPCA ( www.nevadaspca.org )! Osito was a newborn without a mom at the time of rescue. His foster mom bottle-fed him every few hours, day and night. Osito has been socialized with cats and small dogs. He is now 4 months of age and neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Terrance is chatting with every visitor today and asking for consideration.    As soon as you pick him up, his meowing his replaced with purring. Terrance is very social and needs tons of quality bonding time with you daily. He is about 6 months of age, a super cute tabby kitten, neutered, terrific with other cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.    At the time of rescue he was found abandoned outdoors with no sign of responsible ownership.

Angie is fascinated by every toy, flash of light, and household object. But what really intrigues Angie is a person, and she wants to know all she can about the people she bonds with. Tammy's favorite things include belly rubs, playing with cats and dogs, and bonding with kind people.  She is a baby girl with a beautiful spirit, a blue & cream (dilute tortoiseshell) kitten, 4 months of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home carefully for her safety.  At the time of rescue Tammy's tail was severely wounded and maimed from reportedly getting caught in barbed wire. Much of her tail had to be amputated and she has healed well.

Vanessa is a baby angel ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  A month ago she was at another shelter that needed our help because she was so skittish and terrified.  We housed Vanessa with two other cats, giving her big sisters, and she instantly snuggled with them to feel safe and secure.  We strongly prefer adopting Vanessa into a home with another cat who will be her mentor and provide guidance and comfort.  She is now 3 months of age and spayed and getting a bit better each day with trusting people.  Please carefully kitten-proof your home for her safety.

Please help find a foster hero for Majestic , a baby girl rescued this morning.  She was found inside a rental property without food or water, three days after abandonment by the tenants.  Majestic is very gentle, about 9 months of age, and so grateful for human contact and kindness.  It appears she was born without eyelids and she only has slight vision.  We want to place Majestic in a foster home for a few weeks to get the TLC she is craving and needing, then we'll schedule her for her spay surgery and prepare her for adoption to a loving forever home.  Please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 5pm and ask for Lonnie if you can help Majestic .

Prescott was witnessed being thrown out of a moving car on the I-95 freeway in Las Vegas last weekend.  Miraculously he had no broken bones (or jaw injuries, which are common when thrown from moving vehicles) and a Nevada SPCA foster mom happened to be there to capture and save him.  Prescott is now neutered, full of life and vigor and personality, approximately 3 months of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Prescott is one of 20 rescued kittens currently available for adoption.

Buford is a confident boy who sees the house as one giant jungle gym to play in and explore.  His foster mom (who has cared for him since his rescue as a motherless newborn) said he likes to jump on the computer keyboard and show you that he can press down on the keys too to help you.  Buford is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.
