Michelangelo

Image
Michelangelo is a young boy with eyes revealing the pain he has endured. Physically he is well, but emotionally he worries that people want to hurt him. He is improving daily, and this progress needs to continue with a hero in a very gentle home. Michelangelo is a Dachshund mix, 2 years of age, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We believe he may adjust best with other dogs. Michelangelo was reportedly in an unstable home, so please be sure to give him a very steady lifestyle routine that he can count on (to help establish a sense of order and peace).

Lexus

Image
Lexus reveals deep heartbreak in his eyes. He does not yet realize he is safe. Lexus is a young Dachshund mix, 2 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org). He bonds well with other dogs and we believe he will heal emotionally best in a home with another dog. Lexus was at another shelter that asked for our help. He was trembling in the corner. He is quite afraid of human hands and feels most at ease when he cannot see our hands. This young boy has tremendous loving potential. Please help find him a hero. Soon he will have a completely new and unexpected perception of people.

Sinclair

Image
Sinclair , now healed, shines with a jolly nature and bright outlook. He is a cute Dachshund mix, 8 years of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Sinclair was found injured on the streets. He had infected bite wounds across both side of his body, presumably from a dog or coyote attack. After a month of healing, he is feeling good and he is ready to join a loving, forever home.

Ace

Image
Ace , a handsome and hopeful Dachshund mix, is unrecognizable from when we rescued him 5 weeks ago.  A victim of abuse, he refused to let people touch him and his eyes were dulled, as if he had given up hope.  Ace is still afraid of strangers, but he's warming to people well and today he is able to debut for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Ace is 4 years of age, neutered, and good with other dogs.  Please help find an experienced home where his progress will continue and he reaches his full loving potential.
