Newborn siblings Jack & Jill are two of the ten rescued babies needing foster homes so far this morning.    If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. The foster commitments range from 4 weeks to 3 months, depending on the ages of the kittens. Hilda , who is Jack & Jill's mother, was pregnant at the time of her rescue. Davina , a pregnant young girl, showed up on a family's porch pleading for help and a peaceful place to have her babies. She is super sweet and humble, just a year of age, and needing a foster hero.    If you can help Davina , please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Debra.

Chantilly was in labor and unable to birth her babies at the time of rescue. We rushed her to an emergency animal hospital for a c-section and veterinarians succeeded in saving the lives of Chantilly and her babies. She raised her kittens in a loving, nurturing foster home. Her foster family reports that she is exceptionally affectionate with people and cats, even giving other cats gentle head-butts to welcome them into her presence. Chantilly is a beautiful spirit, a shorthair tabby with jewel eyes, 2 years young, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Gabi is a dainty and well-mannered young lady who needs a loving forever home.    She is a silver & cream medium-hair, 3 years of age, good with other cats, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Gabi was pregnant and homeless at the time of rescue. She raised her babies in a wonderful foster home. (Her babies will be ready for adoption too in the days and weeks to come.)

Yasmin likes resting her head in your lap when you praise and pet her.  She is a docile young girl with a beautiful soul, a steel-grey & white shorthair with jewel eyes, 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Yasmin was homeless and pregnant. We placed her in a wonderful foster home where she birthed and raised her babies. (Her kittens have since been spayed/neutered and adopted.)  Please visit and ask for Yasmin by name.

Violet , a lovely young maternal girl, likes nurturing kittens, cats, and other animals. She holds and comforts them and cleans their faces while they purr (cats) and wag their tails (dogs). Violet is 3 years of age, a shorthair tabby & white, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She was pregnant at the time of rescue (unwanted by previous owners who moved away without her). She birthed and raised her babies in a wonderful foster home. Her kittens have since been spayed/neutered and adopted. Please visit and ask for Violet by name.

Craig and 33 more rescued motherless kittens need loving foster homes please! In addition, a pregnant cat and a mother cat with 1-day-old babies need nurturing foster care too. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Craig and his siblings were found at an apartment complex. They are about 6 weeks of age and eating on their own. The foster commitment for them would be approximately 10 weeks.

Yasmin Ryder Leonardo Yasmin , a pregnant cat expected to give birth this week, and 15 motherless kittens so far today need foster homes. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Yasmin was rescued from a suspected backyard breeder. She is a soulful girl, 2 years of age, and very grateful for kindness and comfort. Ryder's name is inspired by his love of shoulder rides and cuddling up against people's necks while they carry him. He is 7 weeks of age. He was found in a family's garage trying to escape the desert heat. Leonardo is a sporty kitten about 3 months of age. His foster commitment is very short -- as little as 2-3 weeks -- until he can be neutered and prepared for adoption to a loving, forever home. Wanda Rupert Polly Wanda , a pregnant cat, and 4 young kittens of varying ages were found abandoned yesterday afternoon in an alley behind a large department store. Wanda , a 3-year dilute calico (blue, cream, white), will likely give birth this week. She needs a foster home for approximately 3 months so she can birth and raise her babies in the peace and comfort of a loving home environment. Rupert is just 4 weeks of age and Polly is approximately 9 weeks of age. The foster commitment ranges from 4 to 8 weeks please. More information about foster parenting .

Celine , a petite & exceptionally sweet girl just rescued from a parking lot, will give birth at any moment. A foster hero is needed immediately please so she can birth and raise her babies in the peace and comfort of a loving home environment. Please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Neighbors heard Tasha crying. They found her, pregnant and in distress, left behind by her previous owners in a vacated home. In addition, her junior kittens (from a previous litter) were abandoned with her too. We placed her junior kittens in a foster home. The foster commitment for Tasha is approximately 3 months please. Genevieve is a tender-hearted and demure young girl who loves reassurance and gentle petting.    She is beautiful in spirit and appearance, a calico shorthair, spayed, 2 years of age, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Genevieve was pregnant and homeless at the time of rescue. She birthed and raised her babies in a wonderful foster home. Her kittens have since been spayed/neutered and adopted.    Please visit and ask for Genevieve by name.

Katniss is exceptionally fond of people and offers tremendous lifelong devotion. She was pregnant and on the streets at the time of rescue. We placed her in a wonderful foster home where she raised her 5 biological babies and served as a surrogate mom for a sixth baby who was found motherless. (Her kittens will be ready for adoption in the days and weeks to come.) Katniss is fine with other respectful cats, but her focus is on bonding with people.    She is a lovely tabby & white shorthair, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Ahulani, baby girl Alamimo, baby boy Apona, baby boy Iolani, baby boy These four angels with lovely Hawaiian names -- Ahulani , Alamimo , Apona , and Iolani -- are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued their mother, Kehau , in late spring.  She was pregnant and dehydrated, presumably from being abandoned outdoors.  We placed Kehau in loving foster care and she gave birth to three boys and a girl.  ( Kehau will be ready soon for adoption too.)  Her babies have been socialized very well in the foster home.  Please help find them wonderful responsible, indoor-only forever homes.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong companionship.

Bronco, baby boy Seahawk, baby boy Trophy, baby girl "The Super Bowl Kittens" are Trophy and her brothers, Bronco and Seahawk , born on the day of the big game in a loving foster home.  (We had rescued their mother, Alicia , a few days before Christmas.  Alicia had been on the streets and she was pregnant.)  These babies have been socialized well and all three are playful and inquisitive.  They are now about 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.  [Note: Their mother, Alicia , will be ready for adoption too in the days to come.]

At the time of rescue Samantha and her sister, Carly, both pregnant, were found left behind in an abandoned apartment.  We immediately placed the girls in a loving foster home.  Samantha miscarried her babies, but she helped mother and nurture Carly's five babies to good health.  (Carly and her kittens will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.)  Samantha is a loving, easy-going, beautiful tuxedo medium-hair, 2 years young, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this elegant portrait to help her find an indoor-only, forever home.

Powder Puff, mother of the Snow-White Kittens Powder Puff and her 5 babies, nicknamed the "Snow-White Kittens," debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Barnaby, baby boy Daytona, baby boy Elwood, baby boy Kat, baby girl Libby, baby girl Powder Puff , who looks like a kitten herself, is just 2 years of age.  At the time of rescue this summer she was found on the streets and pregnant. We placed Powder Puff in a loving foster home so she could birth and raise her babies in a comfortable, safe home environment.  As a result, all of her kittens are well-socialized (with cats and dogs and people) and well-balanced emotionally. Powder Puff is now spayed.  Her Snow-White Kittens are now 4 months of age and spayed/neutered.  She has three boys ( Barnaby , Daytona , and Elwood ) and two girls ( Kat and Libby ). Derby was pregnant on the streets at the time of rescue.  She gave birth to 5 babies and she was a good mother to them.  (Two have already been adopted and the remaining three will be ready for adoption soon.)  Derby is now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She is beautiful inside & out, a mellow medium-hair girl, about 7 years of age, and she gets along well with other cats.  Derby loves doing "happy feet" on your chest and stomach when you're laying down beside her.

Saylar is a rescued pregnant young cat expected to give birth in about one week.  She needs a quiet, comfortable room where she can peacefully birth and raise her babies for the next 3 months.  If you can help Saylar or any of the other rescued pregnant cats, please visit Nevada SPCA today (Saturday) before 5pm and ask for Lonnie. Saylar is a calm, pensive girl, just 1 year of age.  At the time of rescue she had been abandoned outdoors and she was persistently pleading with a family for them to let her indoors to have her babies.
