Darwin , 18, a docile and gentle angel, loves hearing you talk sweet with hope in your voice.  He cherishes peaceful moments with familiar people and asks for a hero for his twilight years.  Darwin is a tabby, neutered boy, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Candy pleads for a fresh start at 11 years of age. She is a gentle girl lacking confidence, but wanting to build bonds with soft-spoken people who praise her.    Candy is an Australian Shepherd mix, spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Candy is 1 of 33 animals we have rescued so far from an animal organization that collapsed in northern Arizona and nothing further is known of her background.    She likes being with other dogs, but for meals and treats needs to be alone so she doesn't have to worry about another dog stealing her food. Minnie , 16, asks for a hero. She is a tiny, calm-natured Pomeranian who likes being held in gentle arms.    She is good with other sweet dogs.     Minnie was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her age and previous neglect.    Minnie is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Miss Olivia melts your heart with her pleading eyes. Tell her she is lovely and her tail whips merrily from side-to-side and she asks for more praise. Miss Olivia , 12, needs a hero. She is a Labrador Retriever mix, good with other medium and large-size dogs (but not small dogs), spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She was abandoned with body wounds at another shelter by her previous owner (for reasons unknown). We rescued this sweet girl and her wounds healed. Olivia has minor masses on her body, but her veterinarian recommended against surgery due to her advanced age.    Miss Olivia needs love, peace, and comfort for her twilight years.

Hannah , innocent at 14, deeply appreciates every kind touch and comforting word.    She is the first of five teenagers rescued from another shelter who is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Hannah is an Australian Shepherd & Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with beautiful merle coloration, a spayed girl, compatible with cats and dogs.    She has impaired vision in both eyes and asks for a hero.

Abraham , 7, a noble and gentle soul, pleads for a hero. He likes to hear you tell him he's a "good boy". Abraham is a Rottweiler, neutered boy, good with kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is fine with cats and small dogs (who don't bark at him).     Abraham was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Landon , 11, a Cockapoo with angelic eyes, pleads for a hero.  He is housetrained, crate-trained, and often up for a game of catch.  Landon is great with gentle adults, but particular about which dogs he likes and not compatible with young children. He is neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Landon needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.
