Laura, an adorable and rowdy baby girl, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . She is a German Shepherd puppy, 3 months of age and spayed. At the time of rescue Laura was in peril with parvo virus and her previous owners surrendered her. We rushed Laura into emergency care at an animal hospital and extensive treatment saved her life.    Thank you very much to the generous donors who make lifesaving, no-kill work for animals possible! Laura is full of energy. She has a playful, boisterous spirit and still play-bites. We love seeing Aztec , a loving baby boy, feeling so peppy, renewed, and rejuvenated!  He is a very cute Manchester Terrier mix, 7 months of age, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting triumphantly for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Aztec was weak and dangerously ill with parvo.  We rushed him to a veterinary hospital for extensive treatments and he made a full and complete recovery!  Today is magic for him -- a day he has been awaiting for 5 weeks while he recovered.  Please help Aztec find a loving, forever home.

Balloons is a comical baby boy with a colorful, uplifting personality and he triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a cute Bully mix with panda bear coloring, about 6 months of age and now neutere d.  Please give Balloons your kind guidance and direction, as well as basic training.  At the time of rescue, Balloons was in peril with the parvo virus. Billy is an earnest, playful Beagle mix puppy triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is great with kids and dogs, and reportedly housetrained too. Billy is 10 months of age, neutered, and sporting the richest gold coloring.  At the time of rescue his life was in jeopardy with the parvo disease.  After extensive medical care he made a full and complete recovery!  (Thank you very much to those who donate to Nevada SPCA's advanced medical care fund!)  Billy is now ready to be cherished as a valued member of a forever family.  Please ask for him by name when you visit.

Oreo is an angelic puppy triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue he was in critical condition with parvo, a life-threatening disease.  We had emergency medical care provided to Oreo and after extensive treatment he made a full and complete recovery!  Oreo is affectionate and enjoys being held.  He is a super cute Chihuahua mix, 3 months of age, neutered, and good with other dogs. Veterinarians gave this Rottweiler puppy little chance of survival back in early December at the time of his rescue.  He was very sick with parvo. But thanks to extensive medical care (made possible by your generous donations), and his strong will to live, he made a full recovery! Initially called "Santa's Little Helper", we now call him Rickman , and today, Rickman triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Rickman is a thoughtful, loving baby boy, neutered, about 5 months of age.  Rottweiler knowledge is strongly preferred for his adoption. Huckleberry is a fun-loving, affectionate baby boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Huckleberry was very sick with parvo, a potentially deadly disease, but after extensive medical care he has triumphantly made a full recovery! Thor would like nothing more than to shower your face with puppy kisses!  Like Noel posted yesterday, we rescued him shortly before Christmas to save him from the deadly parvo virus when his previous owner could not afford medical care.  Using holiday donations, we had extensive medical care provided for Thor and he made a full recovery.  Thor valiantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Chihuahua puppy, neutered boy, 5 months of age, super sweet and affectionate. 

Noel needed a Christmas miracle.  It was just a handful of days before Christmas and she was very sick with the deadly parvo virus.  Her previous owner could not afford any medical care for her and surrendered her to us so we could try to save her life.  We rushed Noel into a veterinary hospital, and after extensive treatment, she triumphantly made a full recovery.  Today is the day this baby angel has been waiting for -- her debut for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Noel is a Chihuahua puppy, now 9 months of age, spayed, and blessed with a gentle and loving spirit.

Cheeto's survival and full recovery from the deadly parvo virus is one of the Christmas miracles we are appreciating this season.  He is a dignified baby boy, rust red Chihuahua, 7 months of age, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was very sick at the time of rescue, but we had extensive medical care provided for him and he pulled through with flying colors.  The ordeal now over, Cheeto is beginning to become more light-hearted and puppy-like again, enjoying life.

Thanks to donations from you and other caring people, Cuddle Bear triumphantly recovered from parvo, a deadly illness.  At the time of rescue he was very sick and his previous owner could not afford treatment.  We rescued this angel and rushed him into emergency medical care at a veterinary hospital.  Cuddle Bear has since made a full recovery and today he debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix, neutered baby boy, 3 months young, cute and gentle as can be. Hula Hoop earns her name with her excitable, wiggly dance!  She is a precious Malti-Poo puppy (Maltese & Toy Poodle), spayed girl, 3 months of age, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue she was very sick with the deadly parvo virus.  We had extensive medical care provided for her and she triumphantly made a full recovery!

Wolfgang is a loving, regal pup with a lyrical personality. He is a Chinese Crested, neutered boy, 11 months of age.  Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection. Wolfgang is compatible with most dogs and he is reportedly housetrained. Chinese Crested breed knowledge is required so he can get proper skin care.   (Most of his body is hairless.) At the time of rescue from another shelter, Wolfgang had been exposed to the dreaded parvo disease.  Thanks to your donations , we were able to give him the advanced medical care necessary to save his life, and Wolfgang made a full, valiant recovery.  Thank you to all of you who support animal rescue and adoption.

Velvet is a precious baby girl who triumphantly survived a terrible threat to her life. At the time of rescue her previous owner would not or could not provide the emergency medical care needed to save her from the deadly parvo virus. We rushed her into a veterinary hospital, and after extensive treatments, she made a full recovery. Velvet is a tiny Miniature Pinscher, spayed, about 3 months of age. She craves and demands attention, and she may scream if you disregard her.   This screaming is not uncommon in puppies and usually diminishes with time. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection. Daisy Rose Update: Rose was adopted on March 14! Update: Daisy was adopted on March 12! Daisy and Rose are baby girls who came from two different litters and were sick with the parvo virus at the time of rescue. We had emergency medical care provided for both puppies, and after extensive treatment, the girls made full recoveries. Daisy is endearing and has a loving nature.  She is most likely a Pointer mix, now spayed about between 4-5 months of age. Rose is affectionate, spunky, and playful.  She is a Heinz 57 with Retriever, now spayed about about 4 months young. The girls are available for adoption separately.   Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Drama is a tiny little angel who insists on tons of attention and adoration and reassurance. She is a beautiful blend of breeds, perhaps a Beagle & Chihuahua mix.  She is spayed and about 6 months of age. Drama was surrendered to us due to her "screaming".  But her listlessness concerned us that she was ill, and sure enough she tested positive for the deadly parvo virus. We rushed her into emergency medical care at a veterinary hospital.  After extensive treatment, she made a full recovery. Regular readers of this site may have noticed that we have been rescuing an increasing number of puppies, like Drama , who are arriving very ill and in urgent need of advanced medical care.  These precious lives are in the most dire of need and we deeply thank all of you who step forward to donate and help us save them. Update: Juicy was adopted on February 25th! At the time of rescue Juicy was very sick with the deadly parvo virus. Thanks to the generosity of compassionate people like you, we were able to provide her with the advanced medical care she needed at a veterinary hospital.   After extensive treatment, Juicy made a full recovery. We love Juicy's bubbly, jubilant personality and zest for life. She is a lovely Beagle mix puppy, spayed girl, about 7 months of age. Swiss Miss Espresso Update: Swiss Miss and Espresso were adopted on February 24th! Our ability to save animals in desperate need, and those requiring advanced medical care, is possible only because of the generosity and compassion of people like you who donate to Nevada SPCA . Swiss Miss and Espresso , sister and brother, are two babies who had almost no hope when they became ill with the parvo virus and their previous owner was unwilling and/or unable to provide the medical care necessary to save their lives. We rescued these angels and rushed them into emergency medical care at a veterinary hospital.  After extensive treatment, both valiantly made full recoveries. Swiss Miss and Espresso are cute babies with loving natures and gentle spirits.  They are Labrador Retriever mixes, spayed/neutered, about 4 months of age, and we expect them to grow to large size. At the time of rescue this angelic baby girl was extremely sick with parvo virus. Her previous owner was unwilling and/or unable to provide the emergency medical care needed to save her life, so she was surrendered to us. Her initial prognosis for survival was poor, but we rushed her into intensive care at a veterinary hospital, and after extensive treatment, she valiantly made a full recovery. Summer is now ready for adoption into a loving forever home.  She is Toy Poodle puppy, spayed, about 7 months of age.  She gives light kisses and has a joyful nature. She enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming care.
