Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Archie is 1 of 50 rescued kittens ready for adoption tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am at Nevada SPCA! Archie loves chasing ping pong balls. He is an orange tabby & white kitten, 3 months of age, neutered, and great with other cats.    At the time of rescue he was found on the side of a road with his brother (see Hunter below). Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. Hunter is Archie's brother.  The boys were found together on the side of a road. Hunter loves exploring new rooms, meeting people, and observing human behaviors throughout the house.  Everything fascinates him!

Rosa loves meeting people and learning all she can about them. She swivels her head from side-to-side while you speak to better understand each of your words. Rosa is a lovable junior puppy, a Bully mix, 7 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.   She is good with other dogs her size and larger, but she can be bossy with them.    Rosa was found wandering the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Kent likes resting his head on your shoulder. He hopes he can be your baby for his entire life. Kent is an adorable youngster, a Terrier & Toy mix, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He was found abandoned in a schoolyard with no sign of responsible ownership.

Asher is a kind young boy and he is very grateful for every meal, gentle touch, and word of praise. He was found in emaciated, severely neglected condition with no sign of responsible ownership. Since then he has been on a premium meal plan with us and gaining weight, strength, body mass, and energy. This progress needs to continue in his forever home. Hamlet , a bashful hedgehog, needs someone gentle he can count on and bond with.  He is approximately 2 years of age and ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.  Hamlet needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Kai is an especially endearing baby boy with a playful nature. He longs to fit in with those around him and adores people and dogs. Kai is a Chihuahua puppy, 4 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.   He was found on the streets, terrified, with no sign of responsible ownership.

Bindi Brandi Bindi and Brandi , developing emotionally thanks to the dedication of volunteers and staff, are the last two of the 33 rescued Whippet/Beagle/Boxer/Weimaraner mixes rescued on March 1, to be ready for adoption to loving, forever homes.  All others have been adopted or are already awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. Bindi and Brandi , at just 25 and 23 pounds, are two of the smallest of the group. Both girls are 3 years of age, spayed, and compatible with dog s larger than themselves.  Both like to be held and carried. Akira , 11, radiant and young at heart, politely asks for a responsible, loving forever home. She is a warm-hearted Siberian Husky, spayed, housetrained, good with kids and large dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Akira enjoys squeaky toys and sleeping next to your bed.    She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Agatha Jessie Layla Mabel 4 more of the rescued chinchillas -- Agatha , Jessie , Layla , and Mabel -- are ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    All four girls are bashful, but enjoy people, approximately 8 years of age, and they are recovering well from neglect.    We are seeking responsible, loving forever homes for them where they will never again be exploited for breeding. They are social animals and most need to be adopted in pairs (of the same gender). However, we have a couple who need to go home as singles. More details on the 24 rescued Chinchillas. Mac's toys are no match for his acrobatic and stalking skills!  He's just a baby, not even 4 months of age, with impressive agility and determination.  Mac has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with other cats since his rescue.  He is now 4 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Timmy , a cute junior pup with robust spirit, loves to have fun and try new experiences.  He is a Wheaten Terrier mix, 10 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Timmy can be around other dogs, but needs to be fed meals and treats separately.   He was found abandoned on a family's porch with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).

Layla , 12, a serene girl, pleads for a peaceful and loving home.  She is a Longhair Dachshund, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Layla is easy-going, lovable, and humble.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help.  Please help find someone wonderful for Layla .

Pammie , 9, asks for someone to love in a gentle home environment.  She is a Malti-Poo, housetrained, good with dogs, spayed girl, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Pammie is recovering well from neglect.  Please plan and budget for regular pro grooming for her.
