Pinky , 14, a tiny little treasure, offers enormous love and gratitude for a hero. Zorro , 12, a humble little gentleman, wonders if you will consider accepting his love.  He is an earnest sweetheart, a plump & tiny Chihuahua, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Zorro was needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Marigold , no longer sullen, looks with hope deep into the eyes of everyone she meets and wonders if they will accept her love. Lionel enjoys holding hands with the gentle people he bonds with.    He is bashful, polite, and humble. Lionel is a huge sweetheart, a blend of Komondor & Labradoodle, 2 years young and neutered, good with other large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Lionel needed us when his previous owners divorced and he ended up in neglected condition.

Percy has so many of the best adjectives accurately describe him. Amiable. Pleasant. Humble, Kind. Thoughtful. Loyal. Percy is a Flat-Coated Retriever mix needing a home and offering lifelong devotion in exchange.    He is 6 years of age, good with other dogs, housetrained, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Percy was at another shelter and needed our help.

Bentley , a humble and well-behaved gentleman, asks for someone gentle to love.  He is a Shih-Tzu, 8 years of age, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Bentley needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Victoria , 11, listens carefully to the tone of your every word, hoping she can understand you precisely. When you talk sweet, she leans in closer.    Victoria is a beautiful spirit, a gentle Dachshund, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Victoria was found in the middle of a busy road. We traced her microchip ID to her previous family, but they said her owner's mental health had deteriorated (due to dementia) and asked us to instead find Victoria a wonderful new home where she would be safer.

Mary is a polite young girl who quietly sits at your side awaiting your petting and attention. She is a beautiful torbie tabby, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mary likes jumping in and exploring empty cardboard boxes. She needed us when her previous owner passed away.

Analee , humble and bashful, deeply appreciates all kindness.    She is recovering exceptionally well from emaciation and starvation, thanks to the tender care of a foster family. Analee is a young Boxer mix, housetrained, good with cats & dogs & kids, 1 year of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space. Please be sure to keep Analee on a very steady meals and treats schedule. This will help her understand that she will never experience desperate hunger again.

Carrie , 12, a dainty and humble girl, is ready for a fresh start with someone who will adore her.  She is a tiny Pomeranian, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Carrie was found on the streets in very poor and neglected condition with a hernia, mammary tumor, and more problems. We had extensive veterinary care provided to save her (hernia repair, tumor removal, dental care, spay surgery, more).  Please share Carrie's picture to help find her a wonderful hero for life.

"Will loving you heal my broken heart?" Nina , 10, so gentle and humble, just wants someone who will treasure and appreciate her.    She is a very petite Chihuahua, good with cats & dogs & mature kids, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Nina needed us when her previous owner moved away without her.

Sweetie Pie is deeply grateful for all kindness. She is humble and she takes nothing for granted.  Sweetie Pie is a precious Chihuahua & Italian Greyhound mix, 7 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Sweetie Pie cannot comprehend why she is homeless (due to her previous owners having "no time for her").  Please help find her a stable, lifelong home where she will be cherished.

Buggy's broken heart is mending and he's beginning to become hopeful again. (His previous owner went into hospice.)  Buggy is a Longhair Dachshund mix with a very sweet and humble disposition.  He is neutered, good with dogs and mature kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Rupert looks to each new person with such longing and hope. He needs someone to love and to discover where he fits in this chaotic world. Rupert is an earnest, humble youngster, a Wirehair Dachshund & Toy mix, 1 year of age, crate-trained, good with dogs, now neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    His previous owner surrendered him due to "not enough time".    Please visit and ask for Rupert by name.

Rosie , just rescued and soon ready to give birth, asks for a gentle foster home where she can birth and raise her babies. Rosie is 1 of 5 rescued dogs currently needing foster heroes. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Rosie is so humble that she approaches you by laying her head on your feet. She coos when you praise her and pet her. We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space for her. She is a young Retriever mix, about 2 years of age, and good with other dogs.

Layla , 12, a serene girl, pleads for a peaceful and loving home.  She is a Longhair Dachshund, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Layla is easy-going, lovable, and humble.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help.  Please help find someone wonderful for Layla .

Trooper , 12, a gentle soul, enjoys bonding with adults, kids, cats, and dogs.  He is a super cute Longhair Chihuahua, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Trooper is blind in his right eye (old injury).  He needed us when his previous owner began a nomadic lifestyle.

Ishmael , the 2nd of the 33 rescued dogs to become ready for adoption, is learning to embrace kindness. Like his brother, Sweet Pete, who was adopted a few days ago, Ishmael is exceptionally gentle and humble. The 33 were saved from deplorable squalor and their previous owner was convicted of animal cruelty. Original post about what they endured . Ishmael is 4 years of age and neutered, a medium-size blend of many breeds (including Whippet, Beagle, Dalmatian, Bully, and more). We are not yet sure whether he is compatible with other dogs due to the horrors and dog fighting he witnessed. Ishmael is emotionally improving so well.
