Chuck , 10, is most at ease when snuggling on your shoulder.    His previous owner passed away and he wants tons of hugs and reassurance. Chuck is a steel-grey shorthair loverboy, compatible with cats and dogs, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Cory is a jovial junior kitten whose favorite things include games of hide-&-seek and holding you with his front paws while he hugs you. At the time of rescue he was a motherless newborn. His dedicated foster parent fed him by bottle to save his life. Cory is now 6 months of age, neutered, great with people and cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

The best way to describe young Magnus is maybe as 75 pounds of wiggles, kisses, belly rubs, and hugs! In his heart, Magnus is still a baby. He has no idea of his size and strength. Every waking moment is ideal for joy and expressing affection. Magnus likes other dogs too, but he overwhelms them with his athleticism if they are not close in size and energy level to him. Magnus is a chocolate & white American Bulldog & Bully mix, 1 year young and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Disney , an Alaskan Malamute junior puppy with a bubbly personality, overflows with love and joy!    He will be ready for adoption today at 1pm at Nevada SPCA. Disney is all about hugs and playtime. He likes touching people with his paws, so he may be too overwhelming for toddlers or young children because he is unaware of his size and strength.    Disney is good with other large dogs. He is already 77 pounds and expected to grow much larger.    We rescued Disney from another shelter that had ceased its adoption program.

Mitchell , such a burst of sunshine, always glows with good cheer. He's all about hugs, doggie kisses, and big smiles. Mitchell is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 5 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He loves people and dogs.    We rescued Mitchell from a shelter that no longer has an adoption program and his background is otherwise unknown.

Honey , a jolly and angelic girl, tries to find joy in every person and activity (hugs, baths, walks, playtime with kids).  She is blessed with the brightest of souls.  Honey is a plump Australian Cattle Dog mix, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, great with dogs and children, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us because of her previous owner's allergy.

Cadbury's extra toes may help him give even better hugs!  Cadbury is a spunky kitten, about 10 months of age, polydactyl on all four paws, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He loves other cats and he is fascinated by playing with shoe laces.  Before his rescue, Cadbury was witnessed being thrown from a car.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

As you can see, Hugs has a broken heart.  He cannot comprehend why he is homeless after giving 9 years of unconditional love.  His world no longer makes sense.  Volunteers are working to restore joy in his spirit, but his progress will really improve once he is in a stable, loving home environment.  Hugs is a handsome Corgi mix, neutered boy, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is used to going walking and rollerblading with older kids and he is fine with most dogs.  Please help us find Hugs an amazing new home where his soul will soon be revived.

Bessie's extra toes help her give even sweeter hugs.  She is an adorable baby girl rescued from a warehouse, found there all alone with no sign of her mom or siblings, when just a few weeks of age.  We placed Bessie in a wonderful foster home for tender loving care and socialization.  Bessie is now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is polydactyl (extra toes) on all four paws.  Please ask for Bessie by name when you visit. 

Paxton gives wonderful hugs!  He loves to share his kindness and his warm personality makes him especially adorable.  Paxton is a small Boxer & Bully mix, about 2 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Paxton's unique appearance is due in part to his left-leaning nose and jaw.  (We believe he was born this way and his teeth and jaw function well.)  Please be sure to ask for Paxton by name when you visit and let him steal your heart while you meet with him in our adoption courtyard.

Farmia is a mellow, handsome boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was a good sport letting us hold him in this position so we could show off his extra toes (polydactyl) on each paw.  Farmia's extra toes help him envelope you in wonderful hugs!  He is about 6 years of age, neutered, and good with other sweet cats.  Farmia needed us when his previous owner passed away.

Cuddlebug delights in being close to you -- leaning on you, kissing you, and getting hugs.  She is a social young girl and your approval means the world to her.  Cuddlebug is a medium-size Bully & Retriever mix with adorable front-folding ears, about 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue she had been abandoned in Las Vegas in an industrial area and was looking for someone kind to help her.

Update: Julius was adopted on November 30th! Julius is serious about his affections. His favorite thing is to place his paws around your neck, hold you tightly, and purr loudly against your chest.  He gives truly magnificent hugs! Julius is a cream & white medium-hair boy with light green eyes, neutered, and approximately 4 or 5 years of age. He needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship. Julius is great with other cats and we think you will find his humble nature irresistible. Please visit Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms and ask for this sweet little Casanova by name.  He is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats ready for adoption today.

Update: Tipper was adopted on July 31st! Prettier than a painting, Tipper is a petite angel debuting for adoption today. She gives the best hugs. Let her nestle on your neck and shoulder and she will hold on tight, feeling safe and secure. Tipper is a Teacup Chihuahua mix with beautiful brindle coloring. She is spayed and about 2 years young. She enjoys other gentle dogs and tender-hearted people. A quiet home is best for her. Tipper was surrendered to us due to no fault of her own.
