Sophie

Image
Sophie may be 14 years of age, but admirably glows with innocence cheerfulness and enormous hope.  She is a lovely blend of Aussie Shepherd and Rottweiler, good with other dogs and terrific with people, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sophie was at another shelter that ran out of space. Please visit and ask for her by name.

Isadora

Image
Isadora hopes you love her smiles and sneaky doggie kisses! She glows with goodwill and cheer for every kind person she meets.  She is good with other dogs too.  Isadora is most likely a blend of Siberian Husky and Retriever and she is 5 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Tenderheart

Image
You may recall Tenderheart's rescue in May. She was found starving to death in an abandoned crate (likely trapped there for days) and emergency hospitalization, including intravenous fluids, saved her life. Tenderheart has been building body mass and energy ever since. Once so weak she couldn't walk, she now leaps and bounces in joy.     Tenderheart glows with radiance and likes sneaking doggie kisses on her caretakers. She is a small German Shepherd (starvation likely stunted her growth), 11 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Tenderheart can be around other dogs, but must be completely separated from other dogs in the presence of meals and treats. (Because of fearing desperate hunger, food is very serious to her and she won't tolerate the thought of having her food stolen.) Please share her pictures to find Tenderheart someone wonderful, stable, responsible, and absolutely commit...

Hazel

Image
Hazel , so surprised she is getting attention, glows as she realizes that the cruel days are over.    She is a gorgeous Border Collie mix, 4 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Hazel's previous owners reportedly denied her of love, socialization, and indoor access in a heartbreaking attempt to make her "a guard dog". This treatment caused her to become severely withdrawn and sullen, resulting in her abandonment at another shelter. Hazel is starved for kindness and praise. She is timid with new people, but bursts into the warmest smiles when she knows people are happy with her.    Please help find someone wonderful for Hazel !

Annabella

Image
Annabella , 11, a treasure! -- radiant girl who glows when you talk kindly to her.    She wholeheartedly adores people and she gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, plus she's housetrained too. Annabella is a plump blend of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Shar Pei, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was surrendered to us this morning because her previous owner's girlfriend doesn't like her.    Annabella deserves better and we hope you come meet this charismatic girl today.

I am a mixed breed, perfectly unique and pure of heart.

Margaret glows with love and kindness.  She is beautiful on the outside too -- her appearance is so stunning, turning heads as people are fascinated by her one-of-a-kind good looks.  Margaret is a blend of many breeds, including Australian Cattle Dog, about 3 years young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is reportedly housetrained and good with kids.  She may be fine with dogs (but reportedly not around food).  We rescued Margaret from another shelter just in the nick of time.  Please ask for her specifically by name when you visit.
