Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Makana (Hawaiian for "reward"), 16 years of age, loves being held in gentle arms.  He is a tiny Chihuahua, good with dogs, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Most of Makana's teeth are gone (24 had to be extracted during his dental care), so please be sure his food is soft enough for him to safely enjoy.  Please share Makana's picture to help find him a hero.

Minnie , 16, asks for a hero. She is a tiny, calm-natured Pomeranian who likes being held in gentle arms.    She is good with other sweet dogs.     Minnie was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her age and previous neglect.    Minnie is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Anastasia , 16, must finally get to know what a loving home feels like. We rescued this tiny, 6-pound girl from another shelter to provide her with dental care and put her on a premium, probiotic food plan. Due to severe malnourishment, her skin and coat had deteriorated, and much of her hair had fallen out in large patches. Her caretakers suspect she hadn't been eating proper dog food for years. Anastasia is a gentle Miniature Pinscher, good with other dogs, spayed, and ready for adoption to a hero today. Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Anastasia by name.

Romeo & Mikey , 13 and 16 years of age, needed us when their previous owner passed away.  Both boys are Chihuahuas, housetrained & crate-trained, and good with other dogs.  The boys are soul-mates and need to stay together forever please.  Both can get a little fussy about their faces being touched, so an adult-only home is ideal. We have no information on when or how Mikey lost his right eye.  Please help find Romeo & Mikey a hero. They are now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
