Image
Frederick , rescued from a construction site, is one of many baby animals needing foster heroes. So far today, 11 rescued motherless kittens and 3 mom cats with their 12 newborns need foster homes! Please share this post to help or visit Nevada SPCA if you can help foster these fragile lives. Frederick is about 6 weeks of age. His commitment would be for approximately 6 weeks please.    The foster commitments on the other animals depends on their age and condition.

Charlie and Pixie, with Kona in the back Kona and Charlie, with Pixie in the back Charlie and Pixie , and their brother behind them ( Kona ), were malnourished and in peril in the desert heat. At least one of their siblings had already perished. They were found by a teenager who cleaned them up and provided emergency care until they could be surrendered to us. Charlie , Pixie , and Kona need a nurturing foster hero please for approximately 8 weeks. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Please share the kittens' post to help.   Dewey, Huey, and Louie Dewey , Huey , and Louie , baby brothers, also need a foster hero please.  The boys were found by a tourist and there was no sign of their mother.

Mandy, Mark, Statler, and Flora

Mandy & Mark Statler Flora Mandy , Mark , Statler , and Flora are four more adorable, rescued kittens ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Mandy & Mark , sister and brother, enjoy playing soccer with bottle caps. They like chasing laser lights and sleeping at your side, but if you wiggle your toes at night they will pounce on them! Statler and Flora feel most secure around other cats. Each would love a big sister or brother cat to give them guidance and companionship. Like Mandy & Mark , they have been lovingly raised and socialized in foster homes since their rescues.

Surrogate parents are heroes saving fragile lives desperate for kindness.

Tender loving care from nurturing foster parents is the only hope for motherless newborns and others with a fragile hold on life.  We feel blessed to have so many volunteers and staff willing to care for these babies, even waking up in the middle of the night to ensure they are fed every three hours.  More people are needed to help as motherless newborns continue to be rescued throughout the spring and summer, so please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Lonnie if you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent. Hercules , pictured here, is 3 weeks of age, being bottle-fed by Joellyn. More about fostering. Wish List supplies for newborns and others.
