Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Picasso needs to learn his only "job" is to love and be loved. He is a radiant youngster with enormous loving potential. His unique nose coloration adds to his overall charm and he is most likely a blend of several breeds, including Aussie & Shepherd, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Picasso was found abandoned on the streets and several things suggest a dreadful previous home. He is quite wary of some people and wants them to remain away, while he takes very warmly to others and acts like a puppy with them.    An experienced home can help Picasso learn that he is safe and that he can trust his caretaker/owner to only allow friendly people around him.

Jessica yearns to belong and know a steady lifestyle routine.  She is a wonderfully sweet Cockapoo, 2 years young and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Jessica may play ball too rough or exuberantly to be around young kids.  She will shine in an experienced home.

China, baby girl Rock, baby boy China and her brother, Rock , are precious babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   Please kitten-proof your home for their safety. They were born outdoors to a feral mother, then rescued as newborns.  We placed them in a wonderful foster home for nurturing care and socialization.  Both China and Rock are still shy, but they have made enormous progress, and they are now ready for a gentle forever home where their socialization can continue.  They are 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  China is a Siamese mix and Rock is a blue-eyed tuxedo.  They are closely bonded and we prefer to adopt them together for lifelong companionship.

Trixie is a sweetheart junior puppy rescued by a kind woman who saw her almost get hit by a car in the middle of a busy Vegas street.  Trixie had no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).  She is a gorgeous Shepherd mix puppy, about 9 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Trixie loves kind people and she is building a bit more confidence each day.  A gentle, experienced home is ideal for her, perhaps with a big brother dog or big sister dog to help her adjust.

Roscoe is a calm, well-mannered, quiet (rarely ever barks) young Labrador Retriever mix, 3 years of age, a neutered boy, housetrained, available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He loves laying in your lap and licking your face.  Thanks to the volunteers who have dedicated many hours to helping him, it's time to give Roscoe another look.  We are celebrating his progress with these brand new Pet'ographique portraits.  At the time of rescue many months ago Roscoe was play-biting hard, unaware of his strength.  He is now much more gentle and his play-biting has diminished.  Please help us find Roscoe an experienced, loving, forever home.
