Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Jingle , always on the lookout for fun, views the world with great wonder and innocence.  He is a medium-size Heinz 57, perhaps with Aussie Cattle Dog, 3 years young and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Jingle loves playing fetch and he is very intelligent and strong-willed.  He has enormous potential and needs basic training to learn good manners and boundaries. We have mixed information about whether he can be around other dogs.

Briggs adores people and some of his favored activities include playing under blankets, accompanying you on walks, and going for car rides.  He is a slender Bully mix, 3 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Briggs would have been adopted long ago, but he gets nervous around children and needs to be the only dog in the home.  His potential is enormous and we hope you will help find him a terrific, lifelong home.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these four new portraits for Briggs .

Robin is a puppy who is wary of people, terrified of being hit or kicked, or yelled at, so he hunkers down until he feels he has assessed your intentions.  The spark is coming back to his eyes though as he recovers from abuse and he is now letting more of us hold and comfort him.  Robin has enormous loving potential and we ask for your help in finding him a hero who will provide a stable, forever home where his progress can continue.  Robin is a Dachshund & Terrier mix baby boy, 7 months of age, neutered, great dogs and cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Gia's previous owner admitted to neglecting her and not making enough time for her.  So Gia does not have much self-esteem  and she is confused by what people want from her.  But her loving potential is enormous and she will bloom beautifully in a stable, experienced home.  Gia is a medium-size Shar Pei mix, 2 years young, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is reportedly housetrained and fine with mature, older kids.  Please help Gia find a hero who will help her become a well-adjusted, well-balanced dog with confidence.

Elmer's fortunes have changed and he seems to be realizing this and relaxing around us.  He is one of dozens of Boxers who were in desperate need at the home of a breeder who became very ill.  Animal organizations throughout the region rescued all of the dogs.  Elmer is the first of the four Boxers rescued by Nevada SPCA to be available for adoption.  He is 2 years young, now neutered, and he has enormous loving potential.  Elmer reportedly gets along best with men, though we have seen him do well with both men and women.  Please help Elmer get a wonderful new owner who will help him continue his progress.
