Aurora , 10, a serene and docile girl, asks for a calm home environment with a leisurely lifestyle.  She is a lovely grey-blue & white medium-hair with jade eyes, good with other cats, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Aurora was rescued from another shelter.  Please visit our cat condo playrooms and ask for Aurora by name.

Aurora , a docile girl with a beautiful soul, refused to eat or lift her head after her surrender. Despair lifted when a staff person held her head in his lap and stroked her neck and shoulders. We then paired Aurora with a dog friend and she stood up and began eating her treats and wagging her tail. Aurora is a Smooth Collie & Hound mix, 7 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is good with kids and like getting hugs.    Her previous owners reportedly banished her to living exclusively outdoors, which is unacceptable, so please be patient as she adjusts to a proper and loving home where she is valued as a member of the family.

Star , 10, likes holding you on your shoulder and cuddling close.  She is a docile, lovely tabby, good with other cats, spayed, previously declawed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Star needed us when her previous owner moved into assisted living.  Please help her find someone very gentle and affectionate.

Rosarita loves being held and adored.    Her marbled eyes are mesmerizing and everyone seems to see something unique in the vertical shapes under both of her pupils (crosses, hearts, human figures, more). Rosarita is a docile Himalayan, 5 years of age and spayed, previously declawed (front paws), fine with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She is very shy and best suited for a peaceful home environment.    Rosarita needed us due to her previous owner's declining health.

Juliette feels unworthy of love and doesn't yet know she is safe. She is beginning to lift her head when we talk sweetly to her. At the time of her rescue from another shelter she was holding her head down hoping no one would notice her. Juliette is a docile Cocker Spaniel, 5 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please praise her every day and help her understand that she is a treasure and worthy of immense, lifelong love.

Abby's previous owner passed away. She feels lost and confused at the moment.  We want to find Abby a very gentle and stable home where she will feel secure and at peace.  She is a lovely Shih-Tzu mix, 6 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with calm dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Cindy loves kids so much that she instantly forgives them. But her previous owners worried the kids were throwing her and could severely injure her.  We'd love to find Cindy a home with a gentle child who would treasure her devotion and companionship for life.  Cindy is a junior kitten, just 8 months of age, spayed, good with other cats, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.

Angela pleads for reassurance and kindness.  She is a docile German Shepherd mix (her mother is a German Shepherd, her father unknown), 3 years young, spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Angela gets along exceptionally well with other large dogs, but she cannot be around birds or cats.  We rescued her from another shelter.
