Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Paddington's smile melts hearts.  He is a handsome Chow Chow, 4 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs (but small dogs unknown), good with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Paddington was surrendered due to his previous owners' hardship.  He is devoted to the people he trusts, but wary of strangers.

Yanni , wise and friendly and loyal, offers unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, forever home.  He is a magnificent German Shepherd, 4 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs and mature kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Yanni was surrendered by his previous owner, who cited her elderly age and deteriorating health as the reason.  Yanni's ear tips are missing and the wounds/scars are consistent with sun damage and insect bites.  He will reportedly not tolerate anyone yelling or acting threatening around those he loves, especially women, so a calm and steady household is ideal for Yanni .

Kingston , a youngster recovering from a violent home when he was a puppy, devotes himself deeply to those he trusts.  He is an especially attractive American Bulldog mix, 1 year of age and neutered, good with other large dogs, housetrained, and debuting for a hero adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Kingston fears strangers and worries they want to hurt him or the people he adores.  An experienced home can help him continue to understand that he is no longer ever in danger.

Othello , a humble sweetheart, dreams of someone he can dearly love and treasure.  He is a friendly Boxer mix, good with other dogs, 4 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued Othello from another shelter that ran out of space.  Please give this devoted boy consideration.

Sailor , a devoted and amiable boy, yearns for someone to love.  He is a handsome Basset Hound mix, 2 years young, neutered, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Sailor became homeless due to his previous owner's financial hardship.  He adores people, but may require a one-dog household.

Calypso is a bouncy, enthusiastic youngster ready to accompany you on a lifetime of adventures!  If you enjoy outdoor activities, he would love to be your devoted companion and family member.  Calypso is an attractive Jack Russell Terrier (with an intriguing clover-shaped head coloration), 2 years of age, neutered, crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because he cannot be around other dogs.

Bandit , a pleasant gentleman with quiet charm, wants to be sure you are just as happy as he is. He is very devoted to those who are kind to him. Bandit is a Corgi mix (about 30 pounds, long body & short legs), 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Cavalli gently nudges your hand with his nose to request petting and affection.  He is very polite and devoted to those who are kind to him.  Cavalli is a fawn-brindle blend of many breeds (he's perfectly unique), 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued Cavalli from another shelter that ran out of space.  Please come meet him and give him consideration.

Gabriel wants the people he loves to be happy.    He watches your mood carefully and checks on you often. When you tell Gabriel that you appreciate his devotion, he covers your cheeks in doggie kisses. He is an angelic Chihuahua mix, 8 years of age and neutered, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued Gabriel from another shelter that asked for our help.

Bismarck is a regal, intelligent boy who needs people to love.  He is a German Shepherd, good with kids, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bismarck's compatibility with other dogs is unknown (but he was reportedly raised with small dogs and had no contact with other canines).  We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity with strangers (particularly adult men).  German Shepherd knowledge is required for his adoption please.

Spencer is ready to leap into your life and be your devoted boy forever.  He is a junior puppy, 7 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  He is a cute blend of Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua, and he is housetrained and compatible with cats and dogs.  Spencer needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Stan , so grateful to be healed and safe, runs to new people to welcome them into his playroom, then leans his head up to make it easier for them to pet him. Stan is a charming lynx point Siamese, 3 years young, fine with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue he had open wounds on his face, neck, and front right leg. The veterinarian who treated him said the injuries were consistent with similar severe attacks from dogs. Stan had been on the streets, trying to fend for himself. The great comfort and safety of being exclusively indoors is the life that Stan needs from now on. Please share his picture and help find him a wonderful home.

Shelton is a devoted boy who only feels safe around the people and dogs he loves.  He is an exceptionally handsome Shetland Sheepdog, 5 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Shelton is compatible with cats and dogs, and housetrained, and he enjoys a game of fetch.  He reportedly has severe separation anxiety -- fear of abandonment, that every goodbye is forever -- so an experienced and committed owner is needed, along with a very stable lifestyle routine to help him continue improving. Sheltie knowledge is needed for his adoption.

Chico , an abuse survivor, is wary of new people.  But once he knows you are kind, and trustworthy, he deeply bonds with you and stares at you adoringly.  Chico wants to give his whole heart to someone who will never fail him and always keep him safe and at peace.  He is a Longhair Chihuahua, 7-8 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these terrific portraits to help him find a loving, forever home.
