Maxmillian's wagon ride.

Image
Maxmillian enjoying a wagon ride and the cool morning breeze with volunteers today. He loves the bonding and mini-adventures. Due to birth defects with his front paws, his walks are otherwise brief, so the wagon is the perfect solution for leisurely outings. Maxmillian is a rescued angel awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA . Lizzy

Image
Lizzy , 12, coos in your arms when you hold her like a baby and reassure her that she's safe.    This tiny, 6-pound angel, rescued from another shelter that asked for our help, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . She adores dogs and people. Lizzy was born without a bottom jaw. She has a hearty appetite and eats soft/wet food in a unique way she has perfected her entire life. Lizzy's veterinarians said there is no sign of her suffering.    Please share her pictures to help find Lizzy a gentle and compassionate hero.

Chief needs a hero please!

Image
Chief hugs your arm when you hold him and gives puppy kisses when you praise him. He is an exceptionally affectionate German Shepherd puppy, 5 months of age, good with other dogs, and awaiting a foster hero at Nevada SPCA. Chief was found abandoned in a park, unable to walk, with no sign of responsible ownership. His back legs have fused joints (birth defect) and do not bend. Chief can stand on his back legs for short amounts of time, if you help him up, but at this time he is unable to maneuver to a standing position on his back legs without assistance. Chief's veterinary specialist believes there is hope with a variety of possible solutions. Choosing which one will depend on how he manages in a foster home and if his walking improves or if needs a lifestyle affixed to wheels. Please share Chief's pictures to help find someone wonderful for him. Thank you.
