Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Wynn was found running stray near one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas.  Fortunately, a caring person caught him before any harm could come his way from all of the cars and trucks there.  (There was no sign at all of responsible ownership -- no ID tag, no microchip ID, and he was then unneutered.)  Wynn is a jazzy, expressive pup, a Cockapoo, about 11 months of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Roland is an extra large, extra sweet senior who needs a loving home for his twilight years.  He is 11 years, but looks and acts half his age.  Roland is a Great Dane & Rottweiler mix, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Please ask for Roland by name when you visit.

Dennis is a big, lovable Lynx Point Siamese debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is very personable and his ocean-blue eyes are commented by many as being so human-like.  Dennis is 3 years young and neutered.  At the time of rescue one of our staff found him in severe distress, trapped in a cage outdoors without food or water.  He was so traumatized by being dumped so mercilessly that it took him several days to calm down.  But Dennis is now responding beautifully to loving care, realizing he is safe and that his future will be one with love and respect and dignity.  Please ask for Dennis by name when you visit.

Dakota's jolly personality is incredibly appealing and we think he brightens every room he enters with his sunny nature.  Dakota is blond, plump Siberian Husky & Shepherd mix, about 8 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is reportedly housetrained and compatible with children, cats, and dogs.  Dakota is blind in his right eye, due to an old injury.  He needed us because a member of his previous family thought she was allergic to him.

Adopting senior dogs, like Cricket , can bring unsuspecting emotional rewards, along with immense gratitude and unconditional love.  Cricket was at another shelter and needed dental cleaning.  We rescued him, had his teeth cleaned (and one extraction), and he is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Cricket is a mellow Pekingese, about 10 years of age, neutered boy, and good with other dogs.  We love his sweet soul.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming care for Cricket .

Cameron has human-like eyes, pleading to make a connection, and he is baffled why he was abandoned on evicted property and then taken to another shelter.  We rescued this sweet young boy and promised him that brighter days are ahead.  Cameron debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  All of the staff and volunteers spending time with him comment on his immense charm.  Cameron is 2 years of age, a blend of American Bulldog and other Bully breeds, approximately 50 pounds, neutered, and very affectionate with people. 

We love seeing Aztec , a loving baby boy, feeling so peppy, renewed, and rejuvenated!  He is a very cute Manchester Terrier mix, 7 months of age, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting triumphantly for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Aztec was weak and dangerously ill with parvo.  We rushed him to a veterinary hospital for extensive treatments and he made a full and complete recovery!  Today is magic for him -- a day he has been awaiting for 5 weeks while he recovered.  Please help Aztec find a loving, forever home.

Jason is a radiant pup with a fantastic smile and he's debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe he is a mix of American Eskimo & Cocker Spaniel.  Jason is 10 months of age, neutered boy, and great with other dogs.  Jason was found by a busy road with no responsible sign of ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, and not neutered). Further, he shows signs of abuse and gets very wary of some women.  But with others he is jolly and light-hearted and as happy as can be.  Please help us find Jason a kind, loving, forever home where he understands he is never in any danger.

Bud loves to play fetch, chomp at water coming out of hoses, and snuggle in his favorite blankets.  He is a very good-looking Chocolate Labrador Retriever, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting triumphantly for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bud was near death at the time of rescue, emaciated, suffering from ear and lung infections.  The heroic efforts of his foster mom, a veterinary technician, during the past three months enabled him to make a full recovery.  She said he is now housetrained, learning good behaviors (including not eating human food off counters), and needs a very secure home and yard for his safety.

Charger has tremendous radiance and seems to have complete clarity that his future is going to be very bright.  At the time of rescue this neglected boy was found at one of the busiest and most dangerous intersections in Las Vegas.  Fortunately, a kind person scooped him off of the street and saved him from being smashed by vehicles.  Charger is a very attractive Lhasa Apso mix, about 4 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is good with other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.

Bobbin is a bashful young boy with a gentle nature and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a cute Toy mix, 3 years of age, neutered, and good with other dogs.  We rescued Bobbin from another shelter to treat his ear infection and shave away the matted knots resulting from long-term neglect.  He doesn't know he is safe yet -- as you can see by looking in his eyes -- but we are working on his emotional recovery too.  Bobbin needs a calm home environment with a stable routine where he will be showered with affection.

Thor has seen the wicked side of humans, so he carefully looks at and assesses people to determine if they intend him any harm.  He so badly wants to believe in people, so once he trusts, you are golden in his eyes.  Thor is a very handsome Rottweiler, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is reportedly housetrained and picky about other dogs.  Rottweiler knowledge is needed for his adoption.  Please help Thor find his hero so he never again has to worry that cruelty will come his way.

Billy is an earnest, playful Beagle mix puppy triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is great with kids and dogs, and reportedly housetrained too. Billy is 10 months of age, neutered, and sporting the richest gold coloring.  At the time of rescue his life was in jeopardy with the parvo disease.  After extensive medical care he made a full and complete recovery!  (Thank you very much to those who donate to Nevada SPCA's advanced medical care fund!)  Billy is now ready to be cherished as a valued member of a forever family.  Please ask for him by name when you visit.

Bandit is a very intelligent, devoted young boy who enjoys playing fetch.  He is a stunningly attractive Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), 3 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bandit is good with other dogs and housetrained.  Bandit reportedly has witnessed domestic violence and he won't tolerate fighting that appears threatening.  He needs an experienced, stable, and kind home where horrific memories fade, instead of being triggered again and again by screaming and anger.

As you can see, Hugs has a broken heart.  He cannot comprehend why he is homeless after giving 9 years of unconditional love.  His world no longer makes sense.  Volunteers are working to restore joy in his spirit, but his progress will really improve once he is in a stable, loving home environment.  Hugs is a handsome Corgi mix, neutered boy, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is used to going walking and rollerblading with older kids and he is fine with most dogs.  Please help us find Hugs an amazing new home where his soul will soon be revived.

Trinket is a tiny, 6-pound kissing bandit!  He loves people and wants to make sure you know how grateful he is for kindness.    Trinket's past appears to have been a rough one. He was at another shelter with minor ear and head wounds after h aving been plucked off the streets.  Trinket is now healed (though a small chunk of his right ear is missing) and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is a blond Chihuahua, about 4 years of age and neutered, and great with other dogs.

Poochie feels secure in your arms, grateful for the comfort, and he's likely to sneak you with a doggie kiss every now and then.  He is a cuddly young Terrier mix, 1 year of age, neutered boy, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Poochie is good with other dogs and he is drawn to gentle people.  Another shelter asked for our help because he was very shy, but Poochie is now building and confidence and self-esteem, thanks to volunteers working with him, and he's making good progress daily. 

We find Rocco to be a remarkably endearing boy.  He is thoughtful and humble, and just so relieved to be cared for and treated respectfully.  He was so severely neglected that another shelter asked for our help.  We rescued Rocco , and underneath all of the tangled and dirty hair, once cleaned up and shaved, was the super sweetie you see now.  Rocco debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Toy & Terrier mix, under 2 years young, neutered boy, and he is great with other dogs.  We want to find him a terrific, stable home where he is showered with adoration.
