Zeke

Image
Zeke , 4, becomes a bit more puppy-like and jovial each day, which is beautiful to witness as he reaches his loving potential. At the time of rescue his underbelly was so painfully matted he yelped if your hands got close to the knots. Now, the mats are gone, but he remembers how much it used to hurt and prefers not having his stomach touched. Zeke is a chipper boy, a blend of many attractive breeds (likely Akita, Aussie, Shepherd, more), 4 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   He accepts some dogs, but he is very picky about which dogs he likes and so a one-dog household may be ideal for Zeke .

Corazon

Image
Corazon ("heart") is an endearing young girl asking for responsible, loving, forever home.    Her name is inspired by the heart-shaped stripe on her head and her affectionate nature. Corazon is a lovely blend of many small breeds, 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She bonds well with people and dogs.    We rescued Corazon from a shelter that had ceased its adoption program and her background is otherwise unknown.

Blake

Image
Blake , 11, young at heart, beams when you invite him for a walk or cuddling.  He is a teddy bear-cute blend of many small breeds, neutered, good with most dogs, and he's awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for Blake's portrait to help him find a loving, forever home.

Bucky, Bugsy and La Ruff

Image
Bucky, 2 years of age, neutered boy. Bugsy, 1 year of age, neutered boy. La Ruff, 2 years of age, neutered boy. We learned about these three young boys at another shelter.  They were reportedly taken there by their previous owner for somehow getting into a chicken coop.  Bucky is a tiny, 5-pound Chihuahua.  Bugsy is a cute and bashful Chihuahua mix.  And La Ruff is a medium-size, Benji-like breed of many Terriers and Sporting Dog breeds.  They don't need to be adopted as a trio -- what was important was getting them safe so they could join responsible homes -- but please consider adopting a pair or pairing them with another dog for lifelong companionship.

Dawn and Dean

Image
Dawn and Dean, sister and brother Dawn, baby girl Dean, baby boy Dawn and Dean are adorable puppies found roaming near a busy Vegas parkway with no sign of responsible ownership.  They are sister and brother, about 6 months of age, a blend of many breeds (with long bodies, low to the ground), now spayed/neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. We expect them to grow to just medium size.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship.
