Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Barbara Billy Bobby Barbara , Billy , and Bobby -- super sweet, rescued Ragdoll kittens -- are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Earlier this summer the babies were discovered when a person heard cries of distress coming from bushes.  We placed them in a wonderful foster home for care and socialization.  Please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong love and companionship.

L'il Bit Blue Chewy Downs L'il Bit and her three brothers -- Blue , Chewy , and Downs -- are adorable babies raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home since their rescue.    They are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . The babies like cuddling with each other, people, and stuffed animal toys.    Their parents are unknown, but they care believed to be Chi-Weenie & Toy mixes, most likely to remain small in size.    Please consider adopting a pair for lifetime companionship and love.

We urgently need foster homes today for 14 rescued motherless kittens (from 3 separate litters).  The foster commitment is for approximately 1-3 months, generally speaking, until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and prepared for adoption.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm today if you can help and ask for Lonnie. Dylan and Duncan , pictured here, are from a litter of 7.  A woman saw their mother fatally struck by a car.  She then found the babies and brought them to us. Jack Janet Jack and Janet, brother and sister, are loving and entertaining puppies now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  They are Boxer mixes with stunning brindle/tiger coloring, about 6 months of age and spayed/neutered. These two, and their sister Chrissy , were very sick with parvo at the time of rescue.  We rushed them into emergency medical care.  After extensive veterinary treatment, all three survived and made full recoveries!  ( Chrissy will be ready for adoption too in the days to come.) Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.  Jack and Janet can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship. Lacy and her three babies were left behind in an abandoned apartment without food or water.  Lacy's kittens survived and they are eating on their own and remaining in foster care until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered.  Lacy is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She had the weight of the world on her shoulders before, trying to keep herself and her babies alive, but she is now relaxing and engaging in playtime herself, favoring the fuzzy mice toys.  Lacy is a gorgeous Seal Point Siamese, 2 years of age, affectionate in nature, and compatible with other cats who give her space.

Anne Earl Harry Anne and her two brothers, Earl and Harry , are nicknamed "The Windsor Kittens" for their regal names and appearances. These babies are Siamese mixes with stunning blue eyes, now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued their mother, Candise , pictured below, who was found on the streets, in labor, having complications giving birth.  We rushed Candise to a veterinary hospital for emergency surgery and the veterinarians were able to save Candise and her babies. Candise and her kittens were kept together in a loving foster home for nurturing, tender loving care and socialization. Candise has since been spayed and adopted. Anne loves being adored and she favors spinning toys and soft cat beds. Earl is a sporty athlete, always ready for adventure and exploration of new rooms in the house. Harry is outgoing, exceptionally playful, and perhaps the most mischievous. Please kitten...

Candise is a dainty, gorgeous little lady who heartily purrs in your arms.  She is a Lynx Point Siamese, 3 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Candise was pregnant at the time of rescue, left behind by previous owners who moved away without her.  She shortly thereafter had four babies.  All survived and they remain in foster care until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption.  Candise had a serious infection after giving birth and needed emergency medical care.  She made a full recovery and she is now ready for a loving, forever, indoor-only home. 

Park Sparkle Cirque Torq We rescued Princess (pictured below), a sweet and petite Longhair Chihuahua & Terrier mix, and her four newborn babies from another shelter.  Princess had given birth just a few days earlier, on New Year's Eve, but for reasons unknown to us her previous owner surrendered Princess and her newborns there at such a critical, fragile time. We immediately placed mom and babies in a loving foster home for tender care and socialization.  The babies, brother Torq and his three sisters -- Cirque , Park , and Sparkle -- are incredibly sweet and playful, melting the heart of everyone who meets them. Once her babies were weaned, Princess was then spayed and adopted.  Now, her puppies are 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We expect them to remain small, like their mom. Robin Hood Maid Marian Friar Tuck Will Scarlet We rescued Tanya, a pregnant Shih-Tzu & Yorkshire Terrier mix, from another shelter.  We immediately placed her in a loving foster home so that she could have her babies in the peace and comfort of a home environment. Three days later, Tanya gave birth to these angels and their wonderful foster mom helped Tanya raise and socialize them. Now, a few months later, Tanya has been spayed and adopted.  Her babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We nicknamed them " The Robin Hood Puppies ".  Maid Marian is a girl and her brothers are Friar Tuck , Robin Hood , and Will Scarlet .  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety, as well as plan and budget for regular professional grooming care. The puppies are playful and love their toys.  They are affectionate and will do well in gentle homes.

Beautiful Bay is a petite, gorgeous young girl who loves to sleep on the bed right beside you.  She is a blue & cream & white shorthair, 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Beautiful Bay and her four newborn babies were on the streets trying to survive.  A loving foster mom provided all of them with a comfortable home environment (and she is still caring for her babies until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and prepared for adoption). 

Paulie Christopher Meadow Tony Meadow and her three brothers -- Christopher , Paulie , and Tony -- snuggle and melt like butter in your arms.  All four babies are playful and super sweet. The puppies are reportedly Labrador Retriever & Mastiff mixes.  They are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and expected to grow to large size. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. The Sopranos Puppies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.  (There is a reduction to their adoption fees when you adopt a pair in the interest of encouraging them to be able to stay together.) The puppies needed rescue because their previous owner said his landlord demanded that the puppies leave his property.

Adams & Van Buren are baby brothers who would like to stay together for lifelong companionship.  Guinea pigs are social animals and find tremendous joy and peace-of-mind with others of their kind, generally speaking.  Adams & Van Buren are cute boys, about 5 months of age, and very enthusiastic for their daily salad greens.  Please ask for the brothers by name in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room. The boys needed rescue when they were reportedly purchased by a previous owner to be family pets, but it turned out a child was allergic to them.

Aaron is a cuddly, precious baby boy with a playful, adventurous nature. He is a Chihuahua puppy, now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue, Aaron and his brother Roger were just 6 days old, motherless newborns in great need.  One of our staff took the boys into her care and bottle-fed them every few hours, day and night. Both Aaron and Roger survived thanks to her nurturing, loving care.  She also socialized them with other species, including cats and rabbits and sugar gliders, to help become as well-adjusted as possible. While Aaron is available for adoption now, Roger had a strong reaction to a vaccine, so he will be ready for adoption in the days ahead as he fully recovers.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Hulk Tugboat Hulk and Tugboat are adorable, playful baby brothers with loving, kind spirits. The boys are reportedly Schnauzer & Maltese mixes, about 5 months of age.  They are now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Hulk and Tugboat needed us because their previous owner said she "could not get rid of" them. Please plan on regular professional grooming and puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. The boys can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship.

James Majesty These precious babies, brother James and sister Majesty , are tiny angels, both with loving and gentle natures. They are Chihuahuas, now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued their mother Lullaby, pictured below.  She was in labor and a deformed puppy inside of her had blocked her from giving birth.  Lullaby's previous owner was unable to provide medical care to save her life. We rushed Lullaby into a veterinary hospital for an emergency C-section.  The veterinarians were able to save mom (Lullaby) and two of her babies, who we named James and Majesty . Lullaby has since been spayed and adopted into a loving home.  Now its her puppies' turn to find owners who will cherish and adore them every day for the rest of their lives. Boo Berry Count Chocula Franki Berry These three precious puppies were lovingly raised in a foster home after their rescue.  All have sugary-sweet personalities and gentle, loving natures. They are Chihuahua mixes, now 7 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Boo Berry and Count Chocula are boys and Franki Berry is a girl. Bear Bernadette Betty Lou These three playful, adorable, cuddly puppies -- nicknamed " The Beloved Baby Puppies " -- are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bear is a boy and his sisters are Bernadette and Betty Lou . They needed us when their previous owner said his Poodle had an "oops" pregnancy with a neighbor's Terrier. We were very happy to rescue the three in exchange for him getting his Poodle neutered. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Lullaby's beautifully expressive eyes reveal a young girl who is tender-hearted and sensitive, yearning to be loved for her own worth, not for her commercial value as a breeding machine.  She is a pretty Chihuahua, spayed, 2 years of age, good with people and dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Lullaby is incredibly fortunate to be alive.  Her previous owner bred her for puppies, but could not afford the emergency medical care she desperately needed when one of her babies got stuck during the birthing process.  We rescued her and rushed her into a veterinary hospital for an emergency Caesarean section, and 4 of her 5 babies survived and remain in foster care.

Baby Moon Bailey Dasani Lovely Arrow Margarite The Kisses Galore Puppies are affectionate babies who delight in cuddling and showering you with puppy kisses.  They are Bully mixes, spayed/neutered, 3 months of age, expected to grow to medium size, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They were rescued from a cardboard box abandoned behind a pet store.  The boys are Baby Moon and Bailey .  The girls are Dasani , Lovely Arrow , and Margarite .
