Arthur , a rescued baby boy with a polite manner, needs a foster home please. He was found on the streets with severe ear infections and no sign of responsible ownership. His ears were so painful he had shaken his head violently causing hematomas in both ears. His right ear was drained yesterday and the operation for his left ear is early today. His ears are now flushed and clean and he is on antibiotics and ear medication. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Arthur is 8 weeks of age, a blend of many breeds. He loves staring at his caretakers and watching their every move. He is very affectionate and grateful for compassion.

Rescued and needing a foster home please! Beauty , just 7 or 8 weeks old, was found abandoned. The person(s) had tied her to a stop sign. Beauty is a gentle, affectionate baby girl, and compatible with other dogs. The foster commitment would be for approximately 4-6 weeks please (until she is old enough to be spayed). Opalescence is a delightful, glowing girl with an affectionate nature.  She is a Parson Russell Terrier mix, 8 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help due to her dental care needs (which we provided for her).  Please visit and ask for Opalescence by name.

Moon & Star , well-behaved and affectionate ferrets, brother and sister, enjoy exploring rooms, being groomed, and napping in hammocks.  They are 4 years of age, spayed/neutered, litterbox trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  They are bonded for life, together forever.  They needed us when their previous owners moved to California, where ferrets are prohibited.  Please visit and ask for Moon & Star by name.

Manny , an affectionate and cute junior kitten, is happy to be in your arms.  He is a cream tabby, 10 months of age, good with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Manny was found abandoned outdoors with no sign of responsible ownership.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Mason Jacob Jacob Mason and Jacob are charming boys with affectionate natures. They are Bearded Collie and Tibetan Terrier mixes debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We believe they are likely son and father. We honor the lifelong bonds of soul-mates, but Mason and Jacob do not appear to have a strong bond. They can be adopted separately or together. Both are housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and neutered. Mason , 1 year young, is especially fond of kids. Jacob , 4 years of age, is especially fond of women and he prances in joy when walking at their side. Both will re-grow long, wavy coats. Because of severe matting, we had both of them completely shaved for a fresh start. Please plan and budget for regular pro grooming to keep them feeling their best.

Van Gogh melts in gentle hands, purring his heart out, begging you to never stop consoling him. Van Gogh has triumphed over numerous life-threatening dangers.  He now longs for a peaceful, leisurely life. Van Gogh reportedly escaped a burning home, but was not reclaimed by his previous owners who became homeless.  He wandered the neighborhood for some period of time, surviving, until he was attacked by a dog or coyote so severely that his head wound nearly severed his ear.  Van Gogh was brought to Nevada SPCA and we rushed him to a veterinary hospital for emergency surgery.  His ear was saved, but the attack did inflict minor neurological damage (which affects his head tilt, running and jumping).  Van Gogh tested positive for feline FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus).  He requires a home where he will be the only cat, where he will have his own room away from other cats, or where he joins a household with cats who already have felin...

Vanessa is happiest cuddling in your arms and hearing you tell her how sweet she is.  She is an adorable baby girl, a Toy & Chihuahua mix, 3 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Vanessa was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no microchip ID, no ID tags, not spayed).

Simon , a polite and affectionate baby boy, is another of the 15 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Simon enjoys playing with other cats and likes to learn all he can about people.    Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. In addition to the 15 rescued kittens ready for adoption, 100 rescued adult cats are ready for adoption and 17 rescued kittens need loving foster homes until they are old enough and healthy enough for their spay/neuter surgeries.

We admire Bam Bam's incredible spirit!  He is a jovial and affectionate youngster, a Border Collie mix, offering bright smiles to everyone he meets.  Bam Bam is good with dogs, 3 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe he has the temperament to be great with kids.  We rescued Bam Bam from another shelter that asked for our help with his wounded back.  He is healing and ready to join a loving, forever home.

Wendy is cheery, gorgeous, smart, and affectionate.  She is a blond & cream blend of Aussie Cattle Dog, German Shepherd & Husky, 6 years of age, spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Wendy is compatible with cats (unconfirmed), dogs, and kids.  She needed us because of her previous owner's long work hours.  Please help find someone wonderful for Wendy who will cherish her as a valued member of a forever family.

Daffodil is polite and affectionate.  She loves to hear you praise her and reassure her that she is safe.  Daffodil is a medium-size Yellow Labrador Retriever mix (substantially smaller than most Labradors), 11 months young, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. She is great with kids and dogs.  We rescued Daffodil from another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space for her.

Thelma & Louise , a cheerful and affectionate pair, are happy to begin a new life.  Both are Bichon Frise & Toy Poodle mixes, 10 years of age, likely sisters, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  The girls were found on the streets in poor condition (requiring grooming, dental care, more). They deserve to know what a responsible and loving home feels like.  The girls are bonded for life, together forever.  Please help find them a hero.
