Aaron Nick Zak These soulful young brothers -- still puppies at about 9 months of age -- were named by the staff and volunteers after the stars of "Ghost Adventures" TV show, the hit series on Travel Channel.  All three are inquisitive and love exploring.  They have hearts of gold and warm up well to people they know and trust. Aaron , Nick , and Zak are Terrier & Toy mixes, brothers with a wide range of appearances, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. The trio needed us after they were abandoned at a veterinary clinic.  Their pasts are otherwise unknown. The Ghost Adventure Pups can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship.

Update: Zak was adopted on August 2nd! Zak is a bright-eyed boy who will do best in an experienced home. He is quite cheery and he has a sparkling personality. Zak is a Maltese mix, neutered male, approximately 4 years of age. Zak is compatible with other dogs and needs regular grooming care, so please plan and budget accordingly. He lost his previous home because he play-bites and could be nippy with children. An experienced owner though can give him gentle, firm guidance to channel his energies and behaviors properly . (Adult-only home required.) Please come meet Zak . He has been waiting anxiously for almost 2 months to be adopted into a loving home.

Update: Zak was adopted on March 22nd! Zak lost his previous home due to being a "runner" -- an escape artist. So this clever, adventurous little boy needs both physical and mental exercise, which can be achieved with daily playtimes and walks, along with lots of other quality time with him. Zak is most likely a "Malti-Poo" (Maltese & Poodle mix). He is neutered, about 3 years of age, and ready for adoption today. Apart from being an escape artist, he is well-behaved. He is good with other dogs and reportedly fine with kind children, and housetrained too (with a doggie door). Please plan on regular brushing and grooming care for Zak . Plus, he needs a very secure home and yard for his safety and protection.

Update: Zak was adopted on November 16th! Zak is a precious, sensitive youngster who yearns to be with kind, gentle people he can learn to trust. He is most likely a Malti-Poo (Maltese & Poodle mix). He is neutered and approximately 3 years of age. Zak is hand-shy and wary of new people. His innocent eyes look deeply at people as he tries to discern whether they intend him any harm. He is fine with many dogs, but reportedly lost his home due to fighting with another dog. Please be sure to plan on regular grooming and brushing care for him. Zak debuts for adoption today. Please adopt him and reassure him that he will only experience the best of human nature from now on.
