Skye is a radiant, glowing young girl overflowing with kindness.  She loves sharing her smiles.  Skye is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 3 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She needed us because her previous family's new baby was allergic to her.

Pip , 11, young at heart, wants to love someone during his twilight years who will never fail him.    He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Pip from another shelter. He had been quarantined for a nip/snap/bite of his previous owner who was reportedly punishing him, inexplicably, with tissue papers, in some unusual way.    Pip deserves better and we are grateful for the opportunity to find him a stable and loving home.

Amy , 3 years young and blind, yearns for comfort and reassurance.    Sit by her calmly and she steps close to be in your presence and feel better at ease. Amy is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, now spayed and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She is housetrained and crate-trained (once she memorizes your home and yard), good with other dogs (but may accidentally step on small dogs), and good with older and gentle kids.    Amy was surrendered by her previous owner who cited becoming pregnant as the reason. Logan is a jubilant youngster who enjoys bonding with kids and playing fetch.  He is a large Yellow Labrador Retriever, 2 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Logan needed us due to his previous owner's declining health.  An active lifestyle routine is ideal for this sporty boy.

Stella is a jubilant junior puppy, starving for attention, and overjoyed in the company of friendly people she can bond and play with.  She is a beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever, 11 months of age, spayed girl, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Stella enjoys kids, but she is likely too rowdy and unaware of her strength to be around very young children. She needs dog training to learn good behaviors.   The man who surrendered her said that his wife refused to let Stella come indoors, which is unacceptable (for reasons of safety, family bonding, and more).  Stella eagerly awaits a home where she will be valued and regarded as a treasured member of the family.

Dakota is happy with every child, adult, dog, puppy, kitten, and cat he meets! He glows with kindness and wants everyone around him to be happy too. Cherish Faith Gregory Isabelle 4 more of the 35 rescued Blond Angels -- Cherish , Faith , Gregory , and Isabelle -- are now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Each of these youngsters (White Shepherd & Yellow Labrador Retriever mixes) is developing emotionally at different rates, learning to trust and awakening to a new perception of people and their relationships with people. Isabelle , 11 months of age and spayed, is adjusting especially well. She is walking surprisingly well on leash already, letting us pick her up, and giving puppy kisses. Cherish , 2 years of age and spayed, is becoming much less fearful of people and she is trying to fit in and determine what is expected of her. Gregory , 3 years of age and neutered, shines with people he trusts, but he's especially wary of strangers and fears being hit. Faith , 4 years of age and spayed, has a large and regal appearance. Mitchell sees the good in everyone and offers his bright smile to share his never-ending joy. Markie's heart soars when you tell him you're happy with him. He is a jolly, lovable boy, a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 6 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org). Markie has extensive hair loss across his body due to food allergies. We have him on a fish diet plan and his skin is improving. Markie is regrowing hair, but may have patches of scar tissue that will remain hairless. He is compatible with other dogs his size, but only if he is fed alone. We suspect this sweet boy missed many meals in past homes and fears knowing hunger again. Please share and help find a hero for Markie .

Jenny is a well-behaved girl with a broken heart. She is depressed and confused about becoming homeless (previous owner's financial hardship) and staff and volunteers are working to comfort and reassure her. Cody worries he is displeasing and unwanted. But when you reassure him that he is wonderful and a good boy, he breaks out a warm smile and his eyes sparkle. Cody is a young Yellow Labrador Retriever debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs.    Cody was at another shelter that asked for our help because of the abuse he experienced in a previous home.    We believe gentle voices and a very steady lifestyle routine will help him continue improving and reaching his full potential.

Annabella , 11, a treasure! -- radiant girl who glows when you talk kindly to her.    She wholeheartedly adores people and she gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, plus she's housetrained too. Annabella is a plump blend of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Shar Pei, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was surrendered to us this morning because her previous owner's girlfriend doesn't like her.    Annabella deserves better and we hope you come meet this charismatic girl today.

Oscar needs a hero.  He's in his twilight years and asks only for kindness, compassion, and keeping his dignity.  Oscar is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, at least 10 years of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue he was at another shelter.  We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready to join a loving, stable home.  Every day of life is precious.  There can be rich emotional rewards that come with adopting seniors and animals with special needs, giving them a heavenly life of love and comfort for the time they have remaining.  Will you please share Oscar's picture and help him get adopted?

Donnie sees the best in everyone he meets.  He has no interest in negativity and only wants to share his joy and sunny nature.  Donnie is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, about 7 years of age, neutered boy, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He was confiscated by police from his previous home for unknown reasons.  Donnie has enormous unconditional love to share with you.

Butterfly Kisses is named for her most gentle of temperaments and her need for a fresh new start in life.  She is a lovely Golden & Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, spayed girl, about 5 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Butterfly Kisses was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her severe neglect.  She was filthy, with signs of improper nutrition, and the only thing certain known about her past was that she was confiscated by police from her previous household.  Please help us find a hero for Butterfly Kisses , someone who will show her what it feels like to be cherished and comfortable and pampered in a loving, forever home.

Hudson glows with kindness and good cheer.  He is a good-looking Yellow Labrador Retriever, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Hudson was hit by a car and then taken to another shelter, which in turn asked Nevada SPCA for help.  He had road rash wounds and a very sore hip, but he surprisingly did not have broken bones.  Hudson is now healed and bounds around playfully as if the incident never occurred.  We love Hudson's resilience and innocence and want to find him a home where he will always remain light-hearted and happy.

Rocky cannot understand how he suddenly became homeless, or why his previous owner needed sudden and unexpected long-term hospitalization. But despite his confusion, he is very agreeable and eager to please.  He looks at us with his pleading eyes, trusting that we can ensure a safe, loving home for him. Rocky is a medium-size blend of Shar Pei and Yellow Labrador Retriever.  He is about 7 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is cuddly and good-natured.  Please ask for Rocky by name when you visit.

Fun-loving and jubilant, Shadow glows with kindness and good cheer.  He is a sunny blend of Golden Retriever & Yellow Labrador Retriever, just one year of age, neutered, full of love for people and dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Shadow from another shelter.  He was surrendered there with a severe eye infection and entropia.  We treated his eye and had his entropia repaired at a veterinary clinic, and he has made a beautiful recovery.

Jazzy sparkles with joy and dazzles us with his amazing smile.  We love his sunny personality.  He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, about 7 years of age, neutered, great with dogs and people, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is recovering beautifully from a horrific past.  He was one of the two dogs living in deplorable conditions at an abandoned home who had been the victim of tazering, as featured on 8 News Now TV on January 12th.  He was transferred to us from another shelter to address his medical needs (and the other dog was also transferred to a reputable rescue group).  Jazzy is ready to experience what a loving home feels like!

Boost has the most dazzling smile and he possesses tremendous loving potential.  He is a sporty pup, a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, 11 months of age, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Boost needs more socialization to develop into a well-adjusted, well-balanced adult.  His progress here will need to continue in his new home with an experienced, patient owner.
