Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Vito & Vince Vito & Vince We rescued these handsome boys from a government-funded shelter.  Vito (right) is the son, about 8 months of age.  His young father, Vince , is about 2 years of age. Vito & Vince are Dachshund mixes, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  They are initially shy with strangers, but warm with those they know and trust. Soul-mates, as well as father & son, they need to remain together forever. Please ask for the boys by name when you visit Nevada SPCA.

Dawn & Vito Update: Dawn & Vito were adopted on December 15th! Dawn & Vito needed us due to their previous owners' home foreclosure. They are young sweethearts, very friendly and generally well-behaved. Both are Puggles (Pug & Beagle mixes).  Dawn , a girl of 18 months, is reportedly 75% Pug.  Vito , a boy of 3 years, is reportedly 50% Pug.  They are spayed/neutered and debut for adoption today. Dawn & Vito are not only good with dogs, but reportedly compatible with cats and kind children.  They are also housetrained (with a doggie door). They are soul-mates and need to remain together forever.

Vito has the most contagious smile. He relaxes his jaw into a huge grin and you just cannot help but smile along with him. He loves people and going for walks, and he plays like he is still a puppy. He also gives kisses to share his joy. Vito is a stocky Boxer mix, neutered male, approximately 7-8 years of age. He is best as the only dog. We rescued Vito from another shelter. He then ruptured a ligament during vigorous playtime in the courtyard. He has completely healed though, thanks to successful surgery and 6 weeks of physical therapy which was very generously paid for by a Nevada SPCA volunteer. Vito is anxious to start his new life today with someone who will cherish him and share in his daily happiness.
