Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Uno hopes you will let him melt your heart, as his physical disabilities in no way reduce his capacity to love.  He is a young Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), 1 year of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Uno from another shelter.  He had sustained massive trauma (from an unknown source) resulting in partial blindness in his right eye and neurological damage.  Uno walks in a shuffling, crawling manner.  When you tell him it's time for treats he throws his front arms up over his head in an enthusiastic Hallelujah! and his whole body wiggles with joy. Uno enjoys sitting upright like a meerkat.  When you tell him it's time for treats he throws his front arms above his head in an enthusiastic hallelujah! and his whole body wiggles with joy.  Uno is a young Chihuahua, 1 year of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Uno was at another shelter that asked for our help.  He had sustained massive trauma (from unknown source), resulting in partial blindness and neurological damage.  Uno cannot walk in a straight line, but instead shuffles and walks in a crawling manner to get where he wants to go.  He is not suffering and he has many years of unconditional love to share with the person who becomes his lifelong hero.
