Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

With each passing day we are reminded how very important personality is, and how irrelevant color patterns are with cats. We find the tortoiseshell coloring to be magnificently stunning, but perhaps it is too exotic for most visitors because Torties seem to be routinely overlooked. Ms. Fluffy did not ask to be born a Tortie. All she wants is a loving, committed, indoor-only forever home where she will be cherished every day. Ms. Fluffy is spayed, medium-hair, and approximately 3 years of age. She needed us after her owner abandoned her outdoors in an industrial area. Super sweet, Ms. Fluffy is sure to win your heart if you come meet her at Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. She is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats for adoption today.

Update: Buffy was adopted on November 6th! Buffy is a bright-eyed kitten, shy and very sweet, with an affectionate, innocent nature. She is a precious baby girl with stunning Tortoiseshell and white coloring, approximately 6 months of age. Buffy is now spayed and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please ask for her by name in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. Like her brother Chip (who is also available for adoption, click here for more information ), and all 200 of Nevada SPCA's rescued and spayed/neutered cats for adoption, Buffy needs and requires a strictly indoor-only home for her safety and protection.

Update: Miss Prissy was adopted on November 6th! Miss Prissy is blessed not only with a mystical, colorful exterior, but also with a very lovable nature. She is a confident, chatty Tortoiseshell (& white) with a dramatic facial blaze. She is now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Miss Prissy was unceremoniously dumped in our lobby, along with her newborn kittens. All have been receiving loving care and are thriving, and the kittens are now old enough to be separated from mom. Please visit Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms and ask for Miss Prissy by name. She is one of 200 spayed/neutered felines awaiting forever homes today. All need, require, and deserve strictly indoor-only lifestyles for their safety and protection.
