Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Tara yearns for kindness. She is becoming more hopeful every day, overcoming challenges from her past, and she's ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Tara is a large Tibetan Terrier mix (42 pounds), 5 years of age, spayed, and housetrained.    She gets along well with other dogs, if fed meals and treats when she is separated from them.    Tara was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.    She is recovering from severe abuse and neglect. Very experienced, adult-only home needed to help her continue improving and reaching her full loving potential.

Giovanni is a spirited, attractive boy who likes things done his way.  He is a Tibetan Terrier & Miniature Poodle mix, 5 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Giovanni was at another shelter that asked for our help. He doesn't like his mouth being touched and he must be kept away from mail carriers and others making home deliveries (who he perceives as intruders).  Please take all precautions necessary and help Giovanni understand that his role is to love, not to protect.

You'll be smiling the second you meet this jovial, engaging youngster!  Wolfy has unique cuteness -- a volunteer mentioned he is like a little polar bear with a curly-Q tail -- perhaps a mix of Tibetan Terrier & Miniature Schnauzer.  Wolfy is 1 year of age, neutered, good with other dogs, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help.  Wolfy apparently became homeless due to chewing a stairway rail.  (But chewing is natural and necessary, especially at this age, so the key is directing his chewing onto appropriate toys.)

Magellan is a thoughtful young boy and he must wonder why life has been harsh and unjust to someone so kind.  At the time of rescue he was at another shelter and suffering from an ear infection.  Magellan is now well and we hope he soon realizes that he is safe and can expect a bright, loving future.  He is a good-looking Tibetan Terrier mix, 2 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Magellan enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  A gentle, stable home is ideal for this bashful boy.

Presenting . . . Trapeze !  He is a very entertaining, fun-loving young boy with a showstopper personality and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Trapeze is an incredibly cute Tibetan Terrier mix, 3 years of age, neutered, and good with other dogs and mature kids.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming (at least quarterly).  We rescued Trapeze from another shelter to treat his ear infection.  He is now well and ready to join a loving, forever home.
