Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Tess is a gleeful, jubilant puppy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, good with kids, and always seeking attention.  Tess is a pretty Bully mix, about 8 months of age, and spayed.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. She needed us when her previous owners were threatened with eviction for having a "pit bull".  We offered them guidance to protect the dog from the landlord's discrimination, but they said they were too fearful of losing their apartment to pursue our recommendations.  Tess did nothing wrong, and she never asked to be born, so please help her find someone wonderful who will love her and keep her safe for her entire happy life.

Update: Tess was adopted on July 31st! Tess needed us because her previous owner believed she was too elderly to care for her properly. She is a gorgeous, endearing girl, reportedly housetrained and compatible with some dogs and older, mature children. Tess is a Rottweiler mix, spayed, just under 6 years of age. She is reportedly afraid of loud noises and loud people. But she is an active, athletic girl. We believe she will do best with dog obedience training. Tess debuts for adoption today.
