Victoria

Image
Victoria , the most adorable lovebug, enjoys giving people doggie kisses. We suspect she was surrendered perhaps to save her from an angry and potentially violent child. Her previous owner cited "niece doesn't like her looks" as the reason for the surrender and the child was inexplicably glaring at Victoria with severe disdain while her aunt turned her into the shelter. Victoria could not be any cuter! She is a Toy & Terrier mix, 1 year young, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Moon River

Image
Moon River , 7, pleads for someone to understand him. He worries that strangers won't like him, but warms very nicely as he grows to trust people.  Moon River is a Terrier & Toy mix, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his dental needs. (We had dental care provided for him and he most of his teeth had to be removed.)

Michelangelo

Image
Michelangelo is beginning to lift his head and hope. At the time of rescue he was at another shelter, hunching his shoulders and keeping his face near the ground, hoping no one would notice him. Quick movements scare him and there are additional signs that he was betrayed with violence in his previous home. Michangelo is 2 years young, a Terrier & Toy mix, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is good with other dogs. We believe he may continue to adjust best in a home with a big sister or brother dog.

Kent

Image
Kent likes resting his head on your shoulder. He hopes he can be your baby for his entire life. Kent is an adorable youngster, a Terrier & Toy mix, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He was found abandoned in a schoolyard with no sign of responsible ownership.

Blossom

Image
Blossom does not yet understand that she is safe. Her eyes reveal such worry and she is desperate for every kind word and touch. Blossom is a gentle young girl, 1 year of age, a Terrier & Toy mix with golden eyes, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She enjoys being around other dogs.    Blossom was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Billy

Image
Billy is learning to trust and he is a young boy with tremendous loving potential.  He watches people carefully to try and determine their intentions. Billy is head-shy and shows other signs of abuse.  He is a super cute Terrier & Toy mix, only 8 pounds in size, 2 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Billy from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Chandler

Image
Chandler hears "treats" and then you have his full attention!  Treats make him so happy that spreading them throughout the day in small portions will always give him something delicious to look forward to.  Chandler is a super cute and young Terrier & Toy mix (18 pounds), 3 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because he is not leash-trained. Chandler needs patience and kind guidance because objects around his neck confuse him and make him anxious.

I was treated like trash and started to think of myself as trash.

Sometimes just getting to the point where you want to hold your head high again is a big victory.  At the time of rescue from another shelter, Mister was so matted and knotted, unrecognizable from the sweetheart who is now cleaned up and shaved down for a fresh start.  Mister is a very endearing boy and he is blessed with a gentle spirit.  He is a butterscotch & white Terrier & Toy mix, 8 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  In contrast to his past, we want Mister's future showered with love and peace-of-mind, with him never doubting whether he is appreciated.

I was worried you too would hurt me.

Rumplestiltskin was rescued at a construction site, so traumatized that he had to be captured with a heavy blanket to make sure no one got bit.  But within a few days at Nevada SPCA he realized he was safe and decided to let volunteers and staff pet and hold him.  Rumplestiltskin is a tiny boy, about 4 years of age, Terrier & Toy mix with the cutest wing-shaped ears, neutered, and good with other friendly dogs.  We do not know what he endured prior to his abandonment, but want to make sure that he only sees the best of human nature from now on.
