Urgent foster homes are needed for 18 rescued motherless kittens today!  If you can help two or more with temporary love and care (between 1-3 months), please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm and ask for Katelyn.  " The Sunflower Kittens " (pictured here) were found in someone's garage.  Their mother, believed to be a feral (undomesticated) or semi-feral cat running loose in the neighborhood, was nowhere to be found.  They are 3 girls and 1 boy, named Lilac , Sunflower , Anastasia , and Bogey .  They are about 4 weeks of age. Samantha, the mother Egypt, baby girl Bonzai, baby boy Sunflower, baby girl Athens, baby girl At the time of rescue Samantha was on the mean streets, trying to survive, late in her pregnancy. We placed her in a foster home and she shortly thereafter gave birth to 7 babies.  Samantha is a devoted mom and she successfully raised all 7 of her puppies in a loving environment. Samantha and four of her babies are now spayed/neutered and ready for adoption.  (The other three need more care and will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.) Samantha is a beautiful Bully mix, 4 years of age.  Her babies are about 3 months of age.  Bonzai is a boy and Athens , Egypt , and Sunflower are girls. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.
