Natasha , a docile girl, treasures peaceful moments at your side.  She is a gorgeous tortie point Siamese with crystal blue eyes, 8 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Natasha was surrendered for no fault of her own ("I am not a cat person," her previous owner said).  Please visit and ask for Natasha by name.

Stella , a gentle girl with ocean-blue eyes, appreciates every act of kindness.  She is a Siamese & Snowshoe, 9 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Stella adores other cats and seeks those who will snuggle with her in cat beds.  At the time of rescue Stella was found abandoned in a crate in a parking lot without food, water, or protection from the summer sun.

Cici & Itty Bitty , girls bonded for life, needed us when their previous owner passed away.  They are friendly, beautiful, and compatible with cats, dogs, and kids.  Both are 7 years of age and spayed.  Cici favors back scratches while Itty Bitty likes sprinting through the house seeking her toys with bells inside.  Please visit Nevada SPCA to meet and adopt these sweet souls.

Layne is a delightful baby girl with a polite and tender manner.    She is 1 of 19 kittens we rescued earlier this week from another shelter that ran out of space. 6 have been placed into foster homes. Layne and a dozen more still need short-term foster homes -- for approximately 3 weeks -- for socialization and until they complete their booster shots prior to spay/neuter surgeries. Truman , 10, wise and noble and confident, asks for someone who will appreciate him and treasure him daily.  He is a chocolate/seal point Siamese, neutered boy, good with cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Truman enjoys sleeping on the bed on or beside your feet.  He was surrendered to us by previous owners who said they had "no time" for him.

Cassie , a devoted mom, and her two 4-week-old babies, Joel and Ruth , were found in a family's garage trying to find protection from the desert heat. Please help find a foster home for Cassie and her kittens for approximately 8 weeks. If you can foster them, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Cassie is very protective of her babies. They will need a secure area, ideally a bedroom or guest bathroom, separate from any other animals in the home.

Elijah begins "purring like a motorboat" the moment you touch him. He adores people and loves being held and praised.  Elijah is a lilac point Siamese kitten, 4 months of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.  He was found on the side of a road, with his sister, Edith (who is posted below), and no sign of their mother. Stewart Oscar Sammy Three blue-eyed boys -- Stewart , Oscar , and Sammy -- are separately debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. All three happen to be compatible with friendly dogs, as well as other cats.  Stewart is a Balinese, 4 years of age and neutered, sporting the cutest meow and he plays with balls with bells inside.  Oscar is a lilac-point Siamese, 6 years and neutered, who likes to sleep on the bed at your side.  Sammy is a seal-point Siamese, 6 years and neutered, who will follow you around the house to remain in your loving presence.

At the time of rescue Lexy had painful burn marks across her whole back (from an unknown cause).  For many weeks now she has been treated by veterinarians and recovering well.  Lexy now has hair growing back and even her scarring is minimal.  Today, she triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lexy loves to jump in laps for affection.  She enjoys napping in the coziest cat beds and looking out the window ("cat TV").  She is a gorgeous blend of many breeds -- perhaps Ragdoll, Siamese, and Snowshoe -- about 4 years of age and spayed.

At the time of rescue Pekelekia was found nursing a single baby kitten, outside in the heat, against the back wall of a house.  Her baby remains in foster care until old enough to be spayed/neutered, but Pekelekia is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a very devoted young girl, a gorgeous Siamese, about 2 years of age.  Pekelekia adores people and the playful side of her personality is emerging. She gets along fine with other cats too.  Please help us find her a loving, stable, indoor-only, forever home.

Draco is still a kitten at 10 months of age and making good progress with trusting people.  Though initially shy, he is warming to gentle volunteers and staff.  Your relationship will grow and bloom with Draco , with mutual respect, in a calm home environment.  Draco is a very cute Siamese, now neutered and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. He is great with other cats.  Draco was rescued from the streets and his background is unknown.

Please help us find a hero for Rocky .  He is a cuddly, chatty, engaging youngster who will fill your heart and home with unconditional love and devotion.  Rocky is a handsome Siamese, neutered, 2 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Rocky was very ill and suffering from severe eye infections.  His veterinarian was able to save his life, but despite all best efforts, his eyes could not be saved.  Rocky is adjusting beautifully and delights in life's most important pleasures -- getting & receiving affection, feeling safe and loved, and being comfortable.  Please be sure to ask for Rocky by name when you visit.   This wonderful portrait is courtesy of Pet'ographique .

We love Pet'ographique's brand new portrait of Sabie , capturing her docile nature and gorgeous blue eyes. Sabie is a young Siamese, compatible with cats & dogs & older kids, spayed, about 18 months of age, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She needed us when her previous owners moved away and did not take her with them. Please ask for Sabie by name in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

Stormy is the kindest, most handsome youngster, and he is beautiful on the inside too. He is a Flame Point Siamese with crystal blue eyes, neutered boy, 2 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Stormy was facing starvation on the mean streets.  But he has bounced back beautifully and he is ready to bless you with unconditional devotion.

Betty delights in investigating everything! Her curiousity seems to know no bounds, so she will keep you on your toes in terms of keeping your home kitten-proof for her safety. Betty is a beautiful Siamese mix kitten, spayed girl, about 3 months of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

There are shy, humble, unassuming, and well-behaved cats.  And then, on the other end of the spectrum, there's Devlin . Truly, he promises no dull moments!  He wants to get into everything, explore, and give his stamp of approval.  He is too strong-willed for most families, but in just the right home he will be cherished for his constant entertaining and singular behaviors.  His shenanigans would be fodder for daily YouTube videos! Devlin is a chocolate Siamese & Snowshoe mix, neutered boy, 5 years of age.  Please ask for him specifically by name when you visit Nevada SPCA.  He does not tolerate other cats well, so he is not in the free-roaming playrooms.

Update: Lilly has been adopted! Non-stop cuddling and playing is Lilly's aim. She has a sweet, vigorous purr, and we find ourselves holding her belly by our ears to hear her rhythmic satisfaction every time she is held. Lilly is still a kitten at about 8 months of age.  She is a Snowshoe and Siamese mix, spayed, and ready for adoption today in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. Lilly does well with other cats too.  Because she is so affectionate it would be ideal if the other cat in the household enjoys engaging other felines too in play and snuggles. She needed us because her previous owners believed they were allergic to her. Like all cats, she needs an indoor-only home for her safety and protection.

Tasha fancies the comforts of life and she takes great care in grooming and selecting places to hide and nap. She is a magnificent Seal Point Siamese, spayed girl, about 7 years of age.  She was previously declawed (front paws), so it is especially important that she strictly has an indoor-only lifestyle for her safety and protection. Tasha needed us because her previous owner believed a member of the family was allergic to her. She loves people, but like many Siamese felines she is not shy about telling you when she wants her independence, so any children in the home should be older and mature. Gravity seems to be only a minor obstacle for this gorgeous lady who prides herself on finding the highest points in the room for perching and catnaps. She also loves when we vigorously bounce tennis balls that she can leap on and catch. Rhubarb is a chocolate-point Siamese, spayed, about 6 years of age, available for adoption in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. We rescued her from a government-funded shelter that ran out of space. Rhubarb needs a very patient, tolerant owner.  She can get fussy and temperamental, particularly if you touch her when (or where) she does not want to be petted.  Adult-only home please. Despite her feisty personality though, she can be a marvelous companion who spends time with you quietly in the same room, full of love and respect.

Friendly and loving, this sweetheart kitten can take your breath away with her endearing looks and nuzzling. She is Casper , a gorgeous Lilac Point Siamese mix, spayed, about 4 months of age.  She debuts for adoption today. This baby girl needed us due to someone in her previous family being allergic to her. Casper is compatible with other good-natured cats.  Dogs though make her very nervous. Like all cats, she needs an indoor-only home where she will be safe from the many dangers outside, from cars to coyotes to disease, and more.
