Rusty, a heartbroken Shetland Sheepdog who yearns for love.

Image
Rusty is forlorn, heartbroken and lonely.  He cannot understand why he lost his home due to his previous owners' declining health.  Rusty takes great comfort in being around other dogs and we strongly prefer adopting him into a home where there is another dog (or dogs).  Rusty is a very handsome Shetland Sheepdog, about 4 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is reportedly fine with cats too and housetrained and crate-trained.

Was it wrong to act like a puppy?

Shivers is a comical, radiant baby boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is believed to be a mix of Shetland Sheepdog and Australian Shepherd, expected to remain small or grow only to medium size, about 6 months of age, neutered, and good with other friendly dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Shivers needed us because he was reportedly scratching the young child in his previous home during playtime.  Puppies like Shivers need experienced homes with realistic expectations where they are allowed to be dogs, which includes playing like dogs, chewing like dogs, etc.  Please ask for Shivers by name when you visit.

Fifi, a gorgeous Shetland Sheepdog full of loving devotion.

Fifi delights in fetching soft toys, carrying them around in her mouth as she prances around the house enticing you to play with her.  She is a gorgeous Shetland Sheepdog, spayed girl, 6 years of age, housetrained, compatible with cats, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Fifi tolerates dogs, but favors human companionship.  Shetland Sheepdog knowledge is strongly preferred for her adoption.   Fifi's portrait, in pearls, is courtesy of Pet'ographique to help her find a loving, forever home.  (Please double-click on her portrait to see it in full-size.)

Can you reciprocate my unconditional love?

Update: Jack was adopted on October 16th! Neighbors rescued Jack when his previous owners fled their home and left him behind. He is still a baby, a playful pup, sweet and friendly and full of curiosity . Jack is a dazzling mix of breeds, including Shetland Sheepdog.  He is neutered, 9 months of age, and debuting for adoption today. He enjoys other dogs and may do best with an active or semi-active lifestyle. Please remember to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection.

Life shared with my soul-mate fills me with joy.

Update: Sissie & Sassie were adopted together on February 5th! Sissie (pictured here) & Sassie are gorgeous, mature girls who have grown to become soul-mates. They are very strongly bonded and need to remain together forever. They are Shetland Sheepdogs, spayed, approximately 7-10 years of age. Sissie & Sassie needed medical care after rescue (from a foreclosed home situation). Besides ear infections, we had Sissie's umbilical hernia repaired and we had a mass removed from Sassie's side. Both recovered well and they are happily now debuting for adoption today. Besides being good with other dogs, Sissie & Sassie are compatible with cats and kind children. They are also housetrained (with a doggie door). Please open your heart to these cheery girls today.

A tender heart like mine is priceless.

Update: Cayla was adopted on January 20th! Cayla is a lovely spirit with a quieter nature. She is a Shetland Sheepdog, spayed female, about 9-10 years of age. Cayla needed us because her owner lost the family home to foreclosure. She is housetrained (with a doggie door) and compatible with other sweet dogs and older, mature children. Cayla debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
