Shadow is a cheerful and exceptionally good-natured senior full of optimism and joy.  He enjoys children, dogs, and cats, plus he is housetrained and crate-trained too.  Shadow loves toys that look like turtles.  He is a medium-size Shepherd & Retriever mix, 12 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Along with his eternal gratitude, there are rich emotional rewards that can come with adopting senior animals, who have just as much unconditional devotion to share with you as a puppy.

Fun-loving and jubilant, Shadow glows with kindness and good cheer.  He is a sunny blend of Golden Retriever & Yellow Labrador Retriever, just one year of age, neutered, full of love for people and dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Shadow from another shelter.  He was surrendered there with a severe eye infection and entropia.  We treated his eye and had his entropia repaired at a veterinary clinic, and he has made a beautiful recovery.

Update: Shadow was adopted on January 5th! Gorgeous inside and out, Shadow is a radiant girl with an easy-going demeanor and she adores children and adults. She needs to be the only animal in the home.  She reportedly lost her previous home due to not being compatible with other animals. Shadow (the name she came in with) is a large German Shepherd mix, possibly mixed with Akita.  She is spayed and about 8 years of age and reportedly housetrained. She loves shaking hands/paws with you, and seems to do so as a way to share her good mood and to make you happy.

Update: Shadow was adopted on January 30th! Shadow is a warm-hearted boy with those he knows and respects. But trust does not come easy for him with new people and he can be anxious in new situations. An experienced, patient, and gentle home will help Shadow gain the confidence he needs to relax his fears and open his heart. Shadow is a Pomeranian, neutered male, about 4 years of age. Besides being good with dogs, he is reportedly fine with cats, plus housetrained too. Please plan on regular grooming care for him. Shadow debuts for adoption today.
